I do not trust this company. I worked directly with Josh to have copyright work completed for my business. We agreed on the scope of work and I paid a retainer fee upfront. However, no work was completed, my emails went unanswered, and over six months passed with no progress or communication. I ultimately had to show up in person at their office on St. Paul Street to have my retainer returned. The retainer was only refunded after I left a negative Google review, and I was then asked to remove the review once the refund was issued, which I found very concerning. Now, more than two years later, I am receiving emails claiming I owe an additional fee of $85.64. Based on my experience, I feel it’s important to warn others to proceed with caution and protect their time and money.

Very Professional. They guided me in the right direction, answered any questions in timely, honest and understandable way. I was treated as a friend, made to feel like I mattered, and was walked through all options and routes carefully with warnings of possible outcomes. I wasnt just another case. Completely unimpressed with this company and their services. The lack of communication was deplorable. Hidden fees were not clearly outlined. During our first call, the link was never sent to us and we were accused of "lying". When getting on the zoom calls, WE had to refresh our paralegal on what our case was about. Talk about unprofessional and lack of effort. We got invoiced for things at the time they were "past due" without ever receiving an initial invoice. The invoices never explain what the fees are for. Every time we got the "past due" invoices, they were also 3-4 months after we last talked with our paralegal. On the invoices it always states the charge date, so we can track it they ever sent us the initial invoice, which they never did. If you want a business to just take your money, then go ahead and use this company. We did all the research, did most of the talking in regards to our case. We ended up overpaying for a company to just file our paperwork, and do no extra effort on their end.

I first hired Josh about two years ago to help me evict tenants who decided to stop paying their rent. It was 5 months + of hell but Josh secured an eviction in LTB hearing and guided me every step of the way. Post eviction, he and his team continue attempting to recoup money owed. I have little expectation of ever seeing anything but I certainly appreciate their efforts. I cannot say enough about his knowledge in all matters Landlord / Tenant. Josh has since helped me out on two other matters, both times I’m extremely pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Josh to anyone in need of a top notch Paralegal.

Gross incompetence and unethical billing – AVOID AT ALL COSTS. "I rarely write reviews, but I am compelled to warn others. I hired this firm in 2023 for a standard LTB case (N12 eviction for personal use). Despite billing me hourly for every single interaction—including a 'senior review' by Josh McDougall—the firm made a critical clerical error: they omitted a tenant’s first name on the N12 form. Because of this negligence, my case was dismissed after waiting nearly a year for a hearing. I paid over $2,500 for absolutely nothing but wasted time and stress. To make matters worse, more than a year later, they have sent a new bill for $1,200 for 'closing the file.' They take zero accountability for the dismissal caused by their own error and are now ignoring my emails regarding this unjust balance. Do not trust this firm with your time or money."
