Young's Thai Cuisine

Fonthill is a small town about 20 min from Niagara Falls, Canadian side. We (6 of us ) went for dinner at Young Thai Cuisine , Fonthill. Most of thai restaurant offers Green , Red and Penang Curry , but this restaurant also had Yellow Curry , Pumpkin Curry , Pad Pong Karee ( Golden Curry Sauce) , Ginger Garlic Sauce all with Veg, Chicken, lamb, Beef, Shrimp or mixed Seafood - quite an option to choose from for Curry lovers. A few of us had been to Young Thai earlier and they ordered their favorite Green Mango Salad, Crab Ragoons ( Egg rolls with crab meat ) , Steam chicken dumplings, Hot & Sour Chicken Soup for starters and for mains Chicken Green Curry, Veg Green Curry , Lamb Yellow Curry. I do not remember having Chicken Pad Pong Karee earlier so I decided to try this. It turned out to be very tasty , good flavour with yellow curry powder , soya sauce and stir fried Eggs and vegetables. I found steam dumplings not so fresh, Hot & Sour soup neither hot nor Sour and Lamb Yellow curry a bit oily, Otherwise all other items were very good in taste . Good Food They took our last order by 0830 PM and we checked in around 0800PM so we could not get our desserts - Friday night !! Enjoy Eating .

First time buying here, I ordered Thai salad and Thai rices and I asked if it could be spicy on my rice the person who served me asked me if I preferred the spicy on the side so I could add it to my taste. I said yes. When I received my food and arrived at the place where I would eat (which was not my house but an outdoor place) I realized that they did not give me utensils or napkins or even my spicy So I had to go to Dollorama to buy Forks and napkins because otherwise I would eat rice with my fingers. Which made the food cold when I returned. The food was good, I'm not complaining about that, but they really should pay more attention to the details

We had a great experience dining at Young Thai Cuisine in Fonthill. The Crab Rangoon was a perfect way to start — crispy, flavourful, and packed with delicious filling. It had just the right balance of crunch and creaminess. We also tried the Orange Cashew Chicken, and it was outstanding. The dish had deep, bold flavour with the freshness of real orange slices and a generous amount of roasted cashews. The shrimp in the dish were impressively large and well-cooked — a pleasant surprise! The highlight for my wife was the Beef Panang Curry — rich, aromatic, and comforting. She loved the layers of flavour and the tenderness of the beef. The only small letdown was the rice, which came out a bit harder than expected, as if it had been sitting too long or needed more water. A slightly softer, fresher batch would’ve brought the whole meal together. That aside, this place is an awesome Thai spot and well worth visiting if you’re in the Fonthill area. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Went here for lunch the other day and I got the pad thai with soup and spring roll for if I remember correctly $16. The soup was good, the spring roll was fantastic, and the pad thai was pretty good as well. I felt like I got a very decent portion of everything for the price and it looks pretty nice in there, way better than the Tim Hortons it used to be!

We decided to try Young Thai again for dinner and I was pleased with our experience, an improvement over a past visit. I had pumpkin soup, which was too hot in temperature for me so I ate it throughout my meal, it was very tasty. We also had crab rangoon and they were very tasty, 3 pieces and a good size. Our mains were pad Thai, city version and pineapple rice with shrimp, both of which were tasty and good sized for the 3 of us. Servers were helpful and attentive, thank you. Food arrived in a very timely manner, faster than my last experience. I have increased my star rating after this experience.
