Ye Olde Squire Welland

We went to Ye Olde Squire for our daughter's birthday, who recommended it. We had a wonderful experience and wondered why we hadn't been before now! The service was incredibly friendly and efficient. It had a great vibe, and we instantly felt comfortable. The food was excellent, we enjoyed everything, it all tasted fresh and flavourful. Thank you!

Portion size is great, friendly staff. To be honest its nice to see Gen X servers they really know how to serve customers. Thumbs up to the staff here. A little bit on the expensive side though. $90 for 3 people to eat lunch is a bit much, there was no alcohol either.

Chris Juliet and I stopped at Ye Olde Squire after an evening of shopping at the Seaway Mall. We ordered drinks and a meal. The food was very good, made exactly as advertised and filling. Fresh cut fries were a welcome bonus. The wine and mocktail were great. Sangria was ok. Staff were busy, but checked in often and took good care of us. Erin EnD Adventures

Good portions. Personally, I'm not a fan of upcharge to substitute house salad, but what can you do? Beef dip was tasty and waitress was attentive. Also, the entrance is inside the mall doors.

I ordered their fish and chips as it was highly recommended. It was absolutely delicious. The fish was meaty. The batter was not overpowering. The fries was crispy and soft in the inside. The coleslaw and tartar sauce was also delicious. I have ordered here numerous times and its consistently good. It doesn’t seem to matter what I get because its always delicious. My definite go to for fish and chips.
