Westcott Vineyards - a Niagara Winery

We love the Niagara region; have been coming to the area for over 5 years at least 3-4 times a year to encourage the wineries and local businesses. Over the last year, we have visited Westcott a few (3 times) now and have been greated by the same individual who has repeatedly made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her… which is unfortunate. The location is beautiful; as the wines but a smile once in a while would be much much much appreciated; especially if you wish us to keep coming back.

I went to Westcott Vineyards earlier in the summer and absolutely loved it! The vineyard is gorgeous, the wine is SO good (highly recommend the pinot noir rose) and the food is delicious. Our server Athena was so lovely and always had great choices for wine flights and food recomendations. I ended up going back with friends to share my awesome experience here. Already can't wait to go back next summer!

Visited here for drinks and lunch with a group of friends. We were quickly greeted and seated and met our lovely server Athena. She took great care during our visit to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the afternoon. She came around the perfect amount between ordering and receiving our items to check-in on us. Incredible service. We shared the burrata and I had the prosciutto flatbread. The peaches and burrata were incredible and soft and the local peaches just melt in your mouth. The focaccia had a great balance of sweet and savoury from the meat and the honey glaze. We each ordered a flight of wines and got to sample a variety of whites, reds, rosés and sparkings. We ate outside and despite it being overcast, it was nice and relaxing to eat out looking over the vineyards. Would definitely recommend for a quaint afternoon visit with friends or even solo. Kudos to the kitchen and again, Athena for a fantastic and memorable dining experience.

Had an incredible experience at Wescott Vineyards! This hidden gem in wine country offers not only exceptional wines but also a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. This is the second year in the row we come here to get our wines and the vineyard experience. From solid wooden oak tables and real fireplace to all the antique furniture, this place oozes history and wine country charm. The outdoor patio has amazing patio furniture spread all across the grass, covered by the tent like shade, created for fine outdoor conversations, even reception here is so remote and slow, that makes you stay in the present moment and focus on the now. Last year we did a tasting and dinner which was amazing. This time, we did a tasting flight and were impressed by the craftsmanship in every glass—especially their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and Rose, which were beautifully balanced and expressive. You can truly taste the care that goes into their small-batch wines. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, with lovely views and a cozy tasting room that feels intimate and authentic. It’s the kind of place you want to linger—sip slowly, chat with the team, and soak it all in. If you’re exploring Niagara’s wine region, don’t miss Wescott. It’s a boutique vineyard with heart, soul, and seriously good. Last year we had dinner here and its was excellent as well. Afternoon or evening dinner exceptionally well spent.
