I hope the manager reads this as it’s their employee I came in the drive through at 4:15pm on January 29th. When I approached the window. A darker skin women with long hair(in a braid ) didn’t greet me and just handed the machine over to me. Then she slams the window. I get my food, still not a single word came out of her mouth and before I could ask for straws she slammed the window again. That was my experience from Wendy’s tonight. Not to mention I tried to get her attention because I was missing a burger and she looked at me through the flipping window closed and walked away. So i paid for a burger and never received it… Absolutely so disrespectful. I surely hope you address this employee and give her a wake up call. I will not be returning.
View on GoogleUnfortunately, I live near this location and I’m forced to endure the changes that are convenient for the location. For at least 4 years lunch started at 10:30 now it’s 11. I am currently at this location waiting for lunch and can pay to have it delivered from any other Wendy’s at this time to this location. However, I cannot order lunch from this location at this time currently 10:53. In addition to that, there’s only one new staff ( they have to continue to rehire) who does all the cleaning of the washrooms, the lobby, takes the order and the cooking in the morning. The three other staff working or two as they are contained in a room hiding and gossiping. If you really want Wendy’s, please drive to Welland Ave or to the next closest one. I am sure you will regret it if you go to “The Very Dirty Hartzel Rd location”!
View on GoogleI almost NEVER leave reviews but tonight's interaction and service was absolutely awful! I have never been treated so rudely in all the years I have been going to this Wendy's. Tonight (Monday September 15th) around 1130pm I went through the drive thru to get dinner for my husband and I who had just gotten home from work and wanted a quick meal.. I placed my order, got to the window.. I had a offer to scan for my rewards I wanted to use so I asked politely if she could scan it.. She rolled her eyes for the first of many times and then told me the new total.. Great! I hand her the cash, I get my change which may I add she so rudely handed to me.. wait about 8-10 minutes for my order to which I had no problem waiting.. 8-10 minutes later she comes to the window and hands me my order. I say thank you so much! Trying to still be kind because I know what it's like to work in fast food and how stressful it can be so I thought maybe she was just having a rough night.. I then proceeded to open my bag to double check if all my items are in the bag (while her and another lady working stare me down through the window..) I noticed that I am missing a ceaser salad dressing and croutons as I ordered 2 salads and I thought there were 2 in the bag but I was mistaken.. she opens the window and I explain I am missing a dressing and croutons for my second salad. She tells me in a condescending way that she only charged me for 1 salad. I said okay, no problem but I ordered 2.. She glares at me, I said can I please pay for a second salad then? She rolls her eyes yet again and takes the machine at puts it out the window.. I say, I'm paying with cash again please.. She pulls the machine in aggressively and takes the money, gives me my change.. Goes and gets the salad and comes back, opens the window and says once again in a condescending way, "here you go, here's your salad Ma'am!!"... Now i can understand if something had to be made and you were near closing that it could have been frustrating but it was no where near closing and it's was a PREMADE salad!! I was nothing but kind and did not deserve to be treated the way I was treated this evening.. I am a regular at this location and have never ever had this kind of interaction with an employee before. She is a new employee from what I can tell as well.. I THEN get home and open the bags to find my burgers to be completely smooshed like a pancake! And no bacon on a JBC?.. The fries were completely hard as a rock as if they were sitting for hours in the fryer!!! Also missing my husband's cheese sauce as well.. 🤦🏼♀️😑 I am completely disappointed in the service and food quality tonight.. If you are that employee and you're reading this.. Please for the sake of your job, be kind towards customers who especially are kind to you! Or don't work in customer service and fast food...
View on GoogleWent in for takeout, bought a Dave’s single combo with no bun. Food was delicious and fresh. The service was fast and friendly! Breakfast, lunch or dinner Hartzel Road Wendy’s is my favourite location to go!
View on GoogleThis gotta be the worst Wendy’s location I’ve been to. Ordered the limited BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger combo and literally the “expectation vs reality” moment for me. The burger looks so dry and flat, little cheese, old & hard dried up bacon. The fries is not medium but kiddy meal size. The lady in the counter looks fried out of her mind. When you talk to her there’s a delayed in her response. Service too slow. Overall this place is a complete joke. What a shame. Piece of advice, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!
