We came in to purchase a toilet that we researched online. Haiden and Ephraim came right over to help us find the one we were looking for....great teamwork. We thought it was no sales tax but after reading the fine print we were wrong so Zander was quick to ring in our sale and set us on our way. An extra shoutout to Haiden for putting the toilet in our car for us! We appreciate all 3 of you for your great service.

Thought I was going to have a problem returning a paint sprayer that we didn’t use, or even open. But after speaking the Peter, we cleared up the misunderstanding. Really appreciate the fair treatment. Retail is not an easy job. I will continue shopping here, for sure.

Not sure why I even kept trying this location after so many disappointingexperiences. Staff are not helpful or knowledgeable. What's pushed me to finally write a review was because of my recent experience with your paint department. I had an older can of Rona brand paint - semi gloss, base 2 that was bought 5+yrs ago. Your employee told me she would not be able to tint it and basically good luck (another location had no issues at all helping me get it tinted). Alright then... handed her the paint chip I wanted and said to mix me the equivalent. She said Rona brand was on sale and it's a great product. A few days later when it was time to paint, I looked at the can and saw she mixed me eggshell. Not sure in what world that's equivalent to semi gloss. I'm painting a bathroom. Absolute basics would be NOT to sell eggshell for that project. Was a hassle to return the can as the manager said "well my staff member is just going to say she made you what you asked for." Maybe you should train your staff better..?? Why is the customer more knowledgeable? I went to the other Rona on Niagara St in Welland and those guys were fabulous and extremely knowledgeable. Avoid primeway drive and go to Niagara st if you want any sort of customer service.

Another Update: Went in to store to look for some kitchen equipment. After patiently waiting for 10+ minutes while employees just stood and gossiped with each other (I thought were working but were just gossiping). I asked if someone can help me. I asked for where the certain product is and this is what I am looking for. Lady working there, her response was, well this is all here you see, why you came to store, don't you know you need to buy online. I was surprised and did not expect this. Then I added, well I wanted to see what I am buying, how it looks and how pig it is and all and I see a few on display but there are no details whatsoever so I need to ask some questions if anyone know. She is like if you buying this one, a little expensive, that is all I know. So look around, search online and just order. I do not even know why I went back to this store. Employees are like they do not even want to work or do anything except gossip. Old Review: Good store but very unprofessional and disorganized. On Sunday got to store at 5:00 PM as google maps and website both said it closes at 6:00. (As I am posting this review, it still says close at 6:00 PM), but employees standing at doors saying we close at 5:00 PM and then proceed to tell me to check google before coming again, so showed them my phone that google map is saying you are open and only reason I came and then they said whoever and proceeded to close doors. Only came here because store was close and needed a few things foe emergency fix. Had to go to other city to get what I needed and guess what, google said close at 6 for that Rona, I got there at 5:30 and they were indeed open. Needs a good management review here.

I live in Welland and make an effort to visit this store whenever I start need anything for a project. However, during my last three visits(I'm sure there is other in the past) to purchase building materials, the items I needed were not in stock. As a result, I’ve had to drive to the Niagara Falls or St. Catharines Home Depot locations to find what I need.. if it's plumbing fittings I've actually even found the Canadian tire to have a better selection. I wanted a cheater valve and this rona didn't have it.... but canadian tire did. Same with a gas line previously.
