Welland Child Care Centre

My son has been here for about 3 years, he "graduates" this year to begin kindergarten and our hearts are broken over him leaving this amazing place. The ECE's are all so amazing, loving and kind. They have helped us shape him into such a great kid. He LOVES going here (which as a parent-speaks wonders!) Would recommend to anyone and everyone :)

My son has been going here since he was 18 months old , he’s now close to age 4. He’s always so excited to go , and loves all his teachers . Erin , belle and Nicole and Tracy he’s always so excited to see ! He even knows everyone’s cars ( odd I know ) he has never had any issues , they always take precautions when he’s sick and never am I out of the loop . He is loved by his teachers and cared for and you can tell! If you have a little one please don’t hesitate to try this care centre .

This daycare has been nothing but a great miracle for our Kid. My kid was in preschool and the teachers over there Bell and Erin had been amazing. They have taken care of our kid like there own and he had learn so many new activities. Teachers other than preschool were amazing too. Supervisor Brenda is very accommodating and made sure my kids need are met. Want to thank everyone at this amazing daycare.

Our son went to this childcare centre for four months. His classroom's main ECE was great, but we encountered issues with the other childcare staff there. Three times within a few weeks our son had unexplained cuts and bruises on his neck and chin. We'd often get incident reports regarding small trips and falls, but these more significant incidents were never explained to us. Some of the cuts and bruises were still visible a week later. There were also several issues with diaper changes. More than once, our son wasn't adequately cleaned and developed a terrible diaper rash. We attempted to resolve these issues with the supervisor, but, after the third incident, it became clear to us that our son would be safer someplace else. I hope that parents considering this childcare centre will be mindful of their children's well-being -- especially parents of those children who are still too young to speak. The frequency of these issues that we experienced suggests neglect. Without the children being able to communicate their experience through language, this childcare centre can hide from accountability.
