Amazing winter experience at Wayne Gretzky Estates We visited Wayne Gretzky Estates and had such a great experience. We went ice skating on their outdoor rink, and the whole event was spectacular very well organized, festive, and perfect for enjoying winter. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, making it a great place to spend time with family or friends. After skating, we decided to explore the shop and purchased a bottle of wine and their maple whisky both were simply spectacular. The wine was smooth and well balanced, and the maple whisky had a rich, warm flavor that was perfect for the season. The entire property is well maintained, the displays are elegant, and everything feels thoughtfully curated. It’s more than just a winery it’s a full experience. Definitely a must-visit in the Niagara region.
View on GoogleWe decided to spend a few hours tasting wine and ice skating before the business of Christmas whisked us away. We live close and have been to Gretzy Estates many times. The Estate is done up beautifully. Classy and Christmassy. As always very clean and elegant. The wine tasting was quick, service was friendly and fast. The ice rink is breathtaking. It's closed in, and family friendly, with a cosy bar that serves cocktails and food. Skating is $10/with rental, and $5/without. There use to be a discount for wine club members, but that does not seem to be applicable this year. Staff were ok. They were quick and helpful. Didn't seem particularly happy to be there. The tater tots were good, nice light spice. The chicken ramen, I'm sorry, but that almost got them a 4 star review. It was more of a tomato noodle soup with veggies and chicken in it. For $22 I was hoping for something more breathtaking. It was eatable, and I finished it. But it is definitely not a ramen. Happy Holidays Everyone! EnD Adventures
View on GoogleWayne Gretzky Estates Niagara-on-the-Lake is unlike any winery I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere was so relaxed and genuinely family-friendly, which is something I’ve never experienced on a wine tour before. It almost felt like a big park in the back, where adults could sip wine and cocktails while kids played and enjoyed the space. The shop was really cool, filled with classic hockey photos and Gretzky memorabilia. I loved the casual, upbeat vibe of the whole place. There’s also a restaurant on-site, which I didn’t get a chance to try this time, but it looked great. I heard there’s even a skating rink in the winter, which sounds amazing! Overall, it was alive, happening, and just a fun place to be, especially for families.
View on GoogleWe visited Wayne Gretzky Estates for a tasting in the Club Room and had such a great time. Our server, Lisa, was fantastic! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and really made the experience feel special. The tasting itself was excellent, and to top it off we ended with a round of cocktails. The highlight was a fun little murder mystery game that actually earned us a free cocktail for our next visit. Such a unique and memorable touch! Can’t wait to come back.
View on GoogleFun tour to do while in niagara on the lake. The tasting was enjoyable trying red and white wine along with their famous whiskey and whiskey cream. Delicious! They also provided a discount on bottles at the shop after completion of the tour. The restaurant was also pretty good just wish it had abit more shade.
