Walmart Vision Centre

I dealt with Emily in the vision center on Vansickle. She is such a pleasure to deal with. I purchased a new set of frames from the Walmart on Welland Ave on st. Catharines a cpl months ago. The arm broke off last week and I was away on vacation. Out of the country. I had no option but to glue the arm back on as it was my only pair of glasses I had with me and it was day 2 of being away for 6 days. When I took them to the welland Ave location I got yelled at and given a guilt trip that now she couldn't return them for a credit because they were glued. I stated I had no choice as I can not see without them. She reluctantly replaced the frames. I put them on amd asked for her to adjust them as they didn't sit right. They were blatantly crooked on my face. She snatched them from me and went to the back room. Came back and nothing had changed. I told her how they were feeling and that if she just looked at them on my face she could see the issue. She literally yelled at me that nothing was wrong with them and walked away. I was in complete shock. I had been up the 4th Ave walmart before and remembered they were much more pleasant to deal with there, so I went there directly from leaving the rude lady. Emily could see immediately that the glasses were not straight and spent the next 10 minutes adjusting them and making sure I was comfortable with them before leaving. I don't know the ladys name from welland Ave. She has thinning strawberry blonde hair, and wears glasses. Just a horrible woman with zero customer service skills. I've heard her speaking to other customers and she's just outright unpleasant. If you need vision care, I highly recommend seeing Emily at the walmart superstore on 4th Ave.

My family and I love the Walmart vision centre at Vansickle Road. The staff there are all superstars, but I’d like to give a shout out to Emily, Carolyn, and Alex (thanks for engaging Kingston about Superman on my last visit!). The service is so personal and this team really takes care of its customers. Definitely giving this team five stars!

Emily helped me with my frames that were broken. Her confidence and ability to think outside of the box were evident from the start. She is magnetic in her personality and very skilled. If you buy you glasses at Walmart go to the one in st. Catharines on Vansickle road. They are the best!!

I have been getting my prescription glasses and contact lenses from here for years. One of the main reasons is Emily who provides the best Customer Service. She is super knowledgeable and patiently provides answers to all of my questions. I never feel rushed or pressured into purchasing anything other than what is best for my needs. Emily just has the best personality and is always upbeat and positive. I also appreciate that with a valid prescription on file, I can re-order contact lenses refills over the phone, it is very convenient.

Emily is absolutely amazing. She is enthusiastic and so helpful. If you tell her what style and price range of glasses you want she’ll excitedly help you find some. She is so sweet, I couldn’t ask for better service. If you’re in need of glasses please go here
