Walmart Pharmacy

0 stars. This pharmacy doesn’t answer phone calls, and based on the recent reviews, it doesn’t seem like anything is going to change. The pharmacist, Joseph, told me they didn’t have my prescription, yet while I was speaking with him I received a text saying it was ready for pickup. When I showed him the message, he seemed completely confused. Honestly, the experience was very frustrating and unprofessional.

Came to pick up a prescription, it took 40 mins for them to figure it out. Then they proceeded to charge me when I was certain it was covered. I paid for the prescription. As im walking away they call me back to re check everything & realize I wasn’t supposed to pay! Then took them another 20 mins trying to figure out how to get my $ back. No luck told me to come back the next day. Returned the following day and took another 20 mins to figure it out. They seem clueless, do yourself a favor and fill your prescription elsewhere. A complete joke at this pharmacy.

Yesterday I went to pick up my prescription which I had called for a refill 2 days prior and said it would be ready in 2 days. I went to pickup it and I was told they didn't have the medication. I am disappointed that I did not get a phone call to let me know that it would not be ready because they ran out of the meds!, what if I did not have any left at home? What would I have done?.They certainly didnt care too. Be aware if you are totally running out of meds Walmart pharmacy is not the place! I am hoping it will be ready today and I am going to a different pharmacy. This is not a place I want to do business with.

After moving back to Niagara, I came to this pharmacy to fulfil my prescription. Have always had my medication covered 100% between my insurance and my wife’s. So, I was surprised to have been charged a pretty considerable amount at pick up, $50. After inquiring about it, the Pharmacy Manager became very rude, asked why I was being so insistent, and literally told me to find another pharmacy. Even the pharmacist (or pharmacy tech, not sure) apologized for the guy’s behaviour and attitude. I will happily take the advice and find a much better pharmacy, thank you.

There is only one person who works at this pharmacy who seems to know what they are doing (a black male pharmacist) thats the only time questions can be answered or you can be charged the appropriate amount. I pick up medication for a family member every two weeks and the price is ALWAYS different ranging from 0$ to 12$ to 25$ each time is a different amount one time when questioned the black male pharmacist was the only person who could explain the charges to me and actually had the tech refund me for incorrectly charging me when there was suppose to be no charge at all. Today I picked up medication and sadly this man was not there two other pharmacist/ pharmacy techs were there , prior to checking out the man in front of me also had issues asking why the medication hes been picking up for years is a different prices they rudley dismissed him and literally said they dont know why, I was charged about 25$ for the medication and because in the past I had be incorrectly charged I asked for clarification on the charge and the dark skin woman/ pharmacy technician was extremely dismissive and rude , I asked her for the total and she said “ what you cant see the screen” i asked the possibly indian man pharmacist working if he could clarify and he pointed to a picture on the wall of the drak/black man pharmacist ( the one who seems to know his job) and said you need to call him we dont know. I could over look the inconsistency and issues with payment if the employees weren't simply dismissive and out right rude. Disappointing considering they are suppose to be “health care professionals “
