Volcano Pizzeria

Went in for their slice and drink deal. The owner was very attentive and the food was excellent. The crust tasted fresh and the sauce was just how I like it. Not too thick or thin with an Italian authentic taste to it. I enjoyed it very much. I brought my wife home a slice. She ate every last bite and is a picky eater. My only complaint was the I didn't have more when I was finished it. I will definately order a custom pizza next time. Cook time seemed to be just right as it was the right level of crispy and soft. A large variety of drinks were in the fridge and I was asked if I wanted parmesan on my slice for no extra charge which is a rarity now a days in shops. Lovely experience.

Great pizza - have ordered a few times now both for larger groups, and family orders. Every time, they have been extremely pleasant and accomodating on the phone. Had some dietary restrictions, and they were more than happy to check ingredients, etc. Also, their vegan cheese is fantastic and a great option for those who may want/need it!

I stopped in here for a slice combo and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Greeted right from the beginning, friendly and funny workers, whoever was the man in charge was diligently advising his staff throughout the other orders coming through. I sat here for a while to enjoy my meal, which the pizza was nice and hot, delicious. I would've taken a picture but I ate it so fast that's how tasty it was. The eating area was clean, the TV was on to something FUN (finally, not the news!) It was a tiny bit cold to sit in here but I imagine working all day by the hot ovens the cool atmosphere is appreciated by the employees! Thanks for the lovely meal and friendly service! Will definitely recommend this pizzeria around!

I’ve been ordering from Volcano Pizza for the past five years since moving from Toronto, and it’s probably my favourite local pizza joint in St. Catharines. The pizza itself is relatively thin crust, on the saucier side, and cooked well. The crust is excellent, some of the best I’ve had. We typically order a simple pepperoni and cheese, so the proportion of sauce and cheese combined with how the crust is cooked makes it all come together really nicely. We haven’t really tested any “high topping” pizzas from them, but I can assure you you can’t go wrong with the pepperoni and cheese. Big fan of the wings too — I find them juicier and thicker than the wings offered at other local pizza places, and the menu has some good pizza + wings combos. The staff is pretty friendly, especially the one guy (probably the owner) who kept asking me to leave a review if I was satisfied (which I am, so here it is!). He’s always friendly to the patrons. We had one mishap a few months ago where they forgot to get me my wings, and they were super professional about it (cooked me a fresh batch when I came back to pick em up) Only thing is they get pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday night, so expect around 30-40 minutes takeout time. Doesn’t bother me too much but don’t expect it ready right away. Couldn’t resist digging in so the pic is just leftovers.

Great food, great staff, great place. The owner is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back if he could. There's options for everyone and the manager is well trained in ensuring your dietary restrictions are taken care of carefully. The for hire delivery people are rude and ignorant and act like they own the place. In house delivery guys are great and friendly. Sadly I ate the food before I thought to take a picture of it but my wings were fantastic, my pizza perfectly cooked, and my chicky strips were great. Edit: my girlfriend took a picture!
