Vision Clinic | Fonthill

I am not an easy case when it comes to fitting my eyes with contacts due to my very high prescription and astigmatism. I am also in need of readers now and need my close up vision to be crisp and clear without the need to continuously put on my readers for my work. I have never had such personalized service as Malina provided in fitting me with contacts for monovision. I haven't seen this clearly in years. Thank you so very much, Malina.

Malina was wonderful! She helped me pick a pair of designer glasses & sunglasses for a great price! She was quick, professional, and very helpful with opinions!

I had an appointment here with Dr. Cantrup today at 10:30... or so I thought. When I arrived, I was informed that Dr. Cantrup was not in today. I know I wasn't wrong about the date and time, because I was given a card with that information a couple of months ago. The receptionist looked me up and informed me that Yes, I did have an appointment, but it was cancelled. I was not contacted with a cancellation, (they were also supposed to call with a reminder, but that didn't happen either). I don't know if it is a result of incompetence or an arrogant lack of regard for the time and travel of others, but No to the offer of the next available appointment. This was your first and last crack at me.

Two stars because the Optometrist was great, but Vision is just not worth the prices. October 16th had an eye exam - was hoping to grab a new pair for a wedding, was told at the store it would be 5-7 days. Called back 1 week later and they said that lead time was incorrect and it would be another week. Called back a week later and they said the lenses haven't even been received at the place where they are cut. Asked for a more solid date and was told "should be sometime next week" Already missed the wedding, and it is what it is, but $400 and 3+ weeks for glasses is crazy.... I was fine with getting a non-name brand set online for like $50, only went with Vision Clinic because I was already there and they had a quick turnaround. The same exact glasses I bought in store were $140 less online with FREE lenses! Thank god benefits covered everything from Vision!

I had a wonderful experience at this clinic! Melina was super amazing!!! She helped me get contacts for my wedding on very short notice and was so patient, helpful, and friendly throughout the process. The rest of the staff were also very warm and welcoming. I truly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be coming back for all my vision and eye care needs. Highly recommend!
