My experience when booking with the Vintage Hotels was outstanding. Laurel was exceptional in assisting me in booking accommodations. She definitely went above "and beyond". Pleasant, professional and informative.
View on GoogleStayed at Pillar and Post in February and was very disappointed. The spa was overcrowded to the point where we were unable to enjoy the amenities. The treatments were rushed (massage, pedicure) and hot spring was inaccessible due to the crowds. The quiet room was not so quiet and because of the crowds. There was no seating when waiting for treatments, so we had to wait in the hallway. Three weeks forward and we’re at The Millcroft Inn and arrived to find out that our treatments were cancelled and now I’m sitting here waiting for our room past the 3 pm check-in. Less than impressed! Vintages Hotels have disappointed and I won’t be staying with them again!!
View on GoogleVintage Hotels does not offer exceptional experiences! Beware of booking spa treatments with Vintage. Your staff is rude and snarky! I had been to other spas and never dealt with that type of behaviour. I celebrated two birthdays at Pillar and Post and the Secret Garden Spa. I had requested a warm room when I booked my massage and a body wrap at Pillar. On the day of, I confirmed the room would be warm by reception. The massage was excellent, and the RMT kept me warm. The aesthetician who did my body wrap was snarky when I commented the room was cold. She didn’t prepare my room by bringing in a heated blanket/pad. She cut my treatment time by looking around for the heated blanket. Why didn’t she prepare for one? Last week, I booked a massage at the Secret Garden Spa. I specifically asked for the room to be warm when I booked it. When I walked into the room, it was cold. When I said the room was cold to the RMT. She was baffled and said, “This the warmest room. I took this one because the other one is cold.” She made me feel my request was unreasonable. I swam before my treatment (this is never an issue at other spas like Blitz), and she commented that it was my fault for swimming and that it would suck the heat. Reception never warned me not to swim before my treatment; she knew I went to the pool. The RMT was very rude, and I wasn’t comfortable during my treatment. I understand the buildings are old, and the heating system is different; However, can’t the spas invest in a room heater or a heated bed? If you can’t provide a warm room, don’t book people who get cold easily. In both situations, the receptionist tried to compensate. At Pillar, they gave me a discount and at the Secret Garden Spa, they provided me with samples. I am still very annoyed. I chose Vintage Hotels as a day to celebrate and relax. I ended up being very disappointed and upset. I will never return or recommend it.
View on GoogleMy stay at the Pillar and Post was exceptional. Their online virtual tour showcased their stunning suites, and the booking process was effortless. There's always a great promotion to choose from when booking. The service surpassed expectations, and the dining experience was lovely. I just wish I had booked an extra day so I could experience the spa! Highly recommended for a luxurious getaway or staycation in a beautiful part of Niagara on the Lake.
View on GoogleAnother great “Girls’ Getaway” this week at the Pillar and Post in NOTL. Enjoyable afternoon by the pool with lunch and a swim, followed by fine dining in the Cannery Restaurant. Great service! Our favourite place to meet!
