This place is aptly named. They are genuinely compassionate and care about people struggling with financial and food insecurity. Their thrift store is well stocked with quality items at reasonable prices. Their volunteers are very friendly and helpful.

View on GoogleOn our way to Niagara Falls we came across this small thrift store that also helps the community through food banks and kids going back to school. Prices were reasonable, and it has a variety of household items and clothing available. It was clean and well organized. Best part is that proceeds help the local community.
View on GoogleDefinitely a thrift/charity shop you should check out. Polite, friendly volunteers, and courteous manager. I was just in there yesterday and asked permission to take photographs, which I always do at any sort of small business like this. This is their new location. The premises are spotlessly clean, the items for sale clean and displayed nicely on shelves, racks, etc. Furniture is also sold here, with most of the usual things in between like housewares, jewellery, clothing, tools, etc., including a whole display of garden seeds. They frequently have some food/produce available for those who can’t afford store prices, which reflects their caring attitude towards the public and those in need. There is also a small area with coffee and a table and chairs, which I find very welcoming. Yesterday, there were a few migrant workers shopping there and I was chatting with one of them who was looking for a bicycle. He kept apologizing for not speaking English very well, but I understood him and assured him that his English was very good and thanked him and his co-workers for the hard work they do here in Canada. If I had a bike I would have given it to him. Highly recommend this store. They do a lot of good within the community and deserve our patronage.
