My husband and I had dinner there last night for the first time after hearing from many people it’s a ‘must try’ Well…. It’s a must! The food was unreal, so delicious! Service was phenomenal! We will be back :)
View on GoogleThis restaurant is so unique and niche! The food was incredible! I had the beef cheek- Highly recommend! I was there for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and authentically intimate in its design and decor. Service was exceptional. Will definitely go back!
View on GoogleWe had a dinner here on a Sunday night. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Environment: cozy, sofiaticated, rustic, clean. The ambiance made the night feel extra special. Food: we had the boar pasta which had an impressive depth of flavour which was heavily spiced, rich and wonderful. We also had the pumpkin linguine tossed in a sage sauce. It didn't wow us, I think I was expecting a more pronounced sage flavour. However, maybe I'm just heavy handed with sage in my kitchen. It still tasted pleasant, and the house-made pasta was cooked to tasty perfection in both dishes. Service: our server was Amari was lovely. Cheerful, accommodating, polite, prompt yet did not feel rushed at all. She definitely added to our fantastic experience! Will be back again.
View on GoogleThe restaurant was surprisingly busy for a weekday night, and we ended up being seated about 25 minutes after our reservation time. Very tight parking spot as well. That said, the atmosphere was intimate and cozy, and the service was excellent. The owner was incredibly kind and even came out to wish me a happy birthday, which made the night feel special. I absolutely loved my mushroom ravioli dish—it was creamy, rich and delicious. My husband had the braised beef, which he felt was a bit bland, the vegetables and mashed potatoes were good. Overall we really enjoyed the dining experience. Would definitely come back!
View on GoogleWe LOVE the Valley. My aunt and uncle live nearby, within walking distance, and so we walked to the Valley for a COZY delightful meal to celebrate my birthday. The aesthetics are perfect: dark walls, nice art, cozy space, dim lighting… you feel at home there. Excellent food. The chef came to say hello; she was very nice and our dishes were fantastic. I freaked my partner out by ordering squid ink pasta, which looked like Halloween night-guts but it was DELICIOUS. I ordered the dish for the broth more than the squid ink, and the broth did not disappoint. So many restaurants overdo the heavy sauces and don’t know how to serve flavorful dishes with light, bright flavors. So good. Can’t wait to return.
