While I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience here, I was mortified to get back to my Airbnb and see I paid $298CA for a pair of jeans that I could order for $98USD. The markup is unreal and yet another establishment in NOTL that preys on tourists. Very disheartening and left a sour taste.
View on GoogleI went with my grandma a while ago we had a great time with the younger employee named Natasha, she was very nice we bought something and left. My grandma wanted to go back to try something on that she liked, and when we got there the owner was there blonde hair lady don’t remember her name, she was very pessimistic she had a very odd way to her that made me feel uncomfortable. and I didn’t even talk to her she let my gram in and was very rash with trying to rush her. My grandma left with nothing feeling this women’s negative attitude. I helped the owner close the door and she grabbed it from me and closed it the rest of the way which was really weird as I was trying to help. I mean no disrespect because clearly she is going through something, and is not getting the help she needs. If you want people to like your store they should also be able to tolerate you, and all these reviews prove that you are failing at that. You should know that people go home and tell people not to shop at your store, so you should reconsider your business plan cause you have a problem.
View on Googlehad such a wonderful shopping experience at Valleverde in Niagara-on-the-Lake, thanks to Natasha! She was welcoming, attentive, and had such a great eye for style. Natasha took the time to really listen to what I was looking for, and her suggestions were spot on. She made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and personal—like shopping with a stylish friend. I left with pieces I absolutely love and wouldn’t have found without her help. Thank you, Natasha, for making my visit so enjoyable! Will definitely be back Arlene
View on GoogleAnyone who is drawn to the beautiful window of this store, beware. Read the reviews and especially the answers of the owner. Why are they so nasty? That’ s a question to the owner(s). What happened to “ Treat the people the way you want to be treated”. My experience is probably not the worst from what I read here. We waited for 15 minutes, a lot of people were trying to check the store but couldn’t be bothered waiting. We got in, were greeted and asked what we were looking for. My teenager wanted a top and the lady helped us to look at couple of them. And as we tried to look at some stuff as there is a lot in the store, we were told the time was up and people are waiting to get in. We left with the feeling that we were being kicked out for not making the decision fast enough or not liking what they offered us. And then I opened the reviews… and again back to what this owner writes back. Instead of risking being insulted or leaving with the feeling of not being good enough, just turn right and buy some jam next door.
View on GoogleVisited on a busy weekend afternoon and was let in quickly. The lady working made good conversation, asking what we were looking for and what brought us to Niagara on the Lake. The woman did a great job in trying to help me find a piece, but unfortunately we didn't have time to browse for longer as I'm sure we would have bought something. There's a huge variety of different styles, and it's likely that most people's tastes can be accommodated in some form. I cannot speak to anyone else's experiences, but wanted to supplement with my own positive one. Perhaps their signage should state: "2 People Maximum, Personal Shopping Experience--Reservations Recommended" for better clarity with all of us who merely wandered in after seeing a lovely front window display. I believe a queue formed shortly after I had left, so I definitely would call in advance before I return.
