Urban Cravings

Customer service should always come before the food in any successful business. Unfortunately, that standard is not being met at this location. After placing my order, I waited about 15 minutes and wasn’t even sure if it had been started. When I asked one of the staff members, her response was unnecessarily aggressive. There was no smile or courtesy—just a harsh tone telling me the order was being prepared and that I had to wait. I didn’t respond to her attitude, but I was surprised by the way I was treated without any reason. Once the order was ready, it was handed over without any bags or assistance. It was a large order that included smoothies, bowls, and burritos, yet no one offered utensils, bags, or any support to help carry everything. While the food quality itself is good, the customer service is consistently disappointing and comes across as rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident—I have experienced similar behavior at this location multiple times before.

So I come here a lot! The food is always great and always have amazing customer service. Today I go in at 7:30pm order 2 bowls. 1 custom tuna bowl with cauliflower rice and a dragon roll. Also I asked for sauce on the side (teriyaki) and I confirm with the girl that it’s teriyaki and I know for a fact it’s not but I let it go since she confirmed with me twice that it’s teriyaki. I also add a smoothie to the order. I get home to find there is no tuna in my bowl along with no cauliflower rice just a small scoop of regular rice. It’s 8:00 now which I understand they just closed but I call and they answer saying they wont do anything since they are closed. This is very disappointing considering that I come here at least once a week and I live down the road and could be accommodated in less than 10 minutes for this mistake. It costs over $45 for bowls and I’m missing items that were paid for.

I always have a great experience at Urban Cravings. The salads are fresh, satisfying, and genuinely nutritious — I almost always get two meals out of one. It’s one of those places that truly delivers a fresh, good experience, and you always know you’re getting exactly what you pay for.

Overall the experience was quick and the options are plentiful. I came with my teammates for a healthy lunch, and we were all able to find something here. I thought my smoothie bowl was good, but all my pieces of mango were extremely hard. I think it's a bit pricey, but overall it was a good experience. There's no seating inside, but there's plenty of parking.

Disappointed is the least I can say about today’s order. How would you feel when you get back to work after picking up your order and find spoiled lettuce in your food? This is just some I picked out while eating, there were more I took out while tossing my salad. I wish I took a picture of it. I called and let them know that with their prices, the lettuce has to be fresh always! The person speaking to me apologized and said I’m looking at the lettuce now, and it seems fine 😐. I guess I should’ve stayed by the counter and watched what they were putting in my bowl.
