I am incredibly disappointed with the admissions and financial aid process at the University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNFC). Prospective students need to be extremely cautious before trusting the financial terms in their Offer of Admission. I applied and was accepted into the Master's program, and my official Offer Letter included the Canadian Education & Experience Award (CEEA). This scholarship was the deciding factor for me, as I have a strict tuition budget. However, right when I was preparing to pay my deposit, UNFC completely revoked the scholarship, claiming I missed a January 23rd deadline. Here is the major problem: This date was absolutely nowhere in my official Offer Letter. Furthermore, the university never sent a single email or notification warning me of this impending deadline. When I raised a formal dispute, their admissions team simply pointed to a generic "subject to change without prior notice" disclaimer hidden on their website. Expecting students to check a website daily for secret changes to a legally binding offer letter is procedurally unfair and highly unprofessional. It feels like a classic "bait-and-switch" tactic to lure students in with a scholarship, only to pull it at the last second and demand full tuition. To make matters worse, their communication is abysmal. I have sent multiple formal emails and escalations to the Admissions team, the Student Accounts department, and university leadership to resolve this clear administrative error. They are completely ignoring my emails and refusing to respond. If an institution cannot honor the "four corners" of its own written agreements or even reply to a student's emails before they enroll, it raises serious red flags about how they treat their students once they actually have your money. Unless this is resolved, I cannot in good conscience recommend UNFC. Keep a close eye on your documents and do not trust their initial scholarship offers.

They give clear feedback, encourage me to do my best, and help me stay on track with my academic goals. Their guidance has made my studies easier and more meaningful. My time at the University of Niagara Falls Canada has been really rewarding. The campus feels welcoming, and the instructors are supportive and open to new ideas. There are so many opportunities to explore different projects, connect with people, and try out creative approaches. Being near the Falls adds such an inspiring atmosphere, and overall it’s been a great place to learn and grow.

As a first-year international student pursuing a Master of Arts in Digital Media and Global Communication at UNF, this is a wonderful journey for me, not only to gain more knowledge but also to explore new experiences in my studies and to network with my new friends at the university. Can't wait to have more good memories with my programs and attend more interesting events at the University!
