Do not send your child here under any circumstance! Worst mistake of my life!! They are very neglectful/straight up abusive…will ignore your concerns and not take responsibility for their actions. Incident reports? Forget it you won’t get them! Food substitutes? Don’t happen, your child will starve! They can’t recall anything that happens with your child because that don’t pay attention to them! My child screamed every morning that they didn’t want to go, and would come home everyday starving! Found horrible markings on body with no acknowledgment of how they got there! Rare communication and no updates/pictures of how day was going, the whole experience was horrible! New daycare offers substitutes and lets you bring own food, doesn’t force sleep, provides incident reports yet we have not had any marks on body, toddler no longer SCREAMS bloody murder every morning that they don’t want to go, because they love the new daycare so much! It’s no longer a fight! My toddler now needs to have surgery due to daycare’s negligence…and they have”no idea what happened” because they don’t watch the kids! Honestly save your time…find a better daycare!! New daycare has a gym, and library, provides substitutes and you’re allowed to bring your own food, works with children and provides reports, doesn’t force sleep, provides good communication and lots of love and understanding which this daycare simply refused. I’m honestly traumatized from the lack of care at this centre…tiona was the only worker who cared…the rest could care less…

I find this school very frustrating I’ve been trying to get my onkwehonwe children enrolled for close to two years now. For this school to be claiming to be a school for aboriginal students, they should’ve been accepted. I been getting the run around, or “ she’s number 3 on our list”. By the time she’s accepted she should already be in grade One. Now we’re looking at a two year wait. As I seen my neighbours who just recently moved next to me, they able to get their children enrolled. I find it wrong, knowing I’ve been calling & keeping up on their applications. I could also agree with the previous reviews to where the staff is rude. My nephew did attend this school & there has been a handful of times where the staff was rude to my mom or sisters while getting him off and on the bus. I am frustrated as a working mom as I am needing the childcare , I am frustrated that my onkwehonwe children are not getting their educational needs. That needs to be their priority any indigenous child need to be top priority especially if this school claims to be an aboriginal daycare. Or maybe your child can get enrolled right away if you have the right connections.
