U-Haul Moving & Storage at Welland Ave

Thanks to U-haul, I had the worst moving experience in my life. I booked a 10 feet truck together with a furniture dolly six days in advance to move out of St. Catharines after Christmas. Two days before my pick-up, I was told the truck and the furniture dolly weren't available at Welland Ave and that I had to go to Fourth Ave, but the packing stuff I ordered could only be picked up at Welland Ave. Ok, I was fine with that. So I went to Fourth Ave, which is a dealer in a convenience store and obviously they valued their customers over me. It took me 50 minutes to pick the truck because the owner/staff constantly stopped to serve their "own“ customers. Even worst, I found the furniture dolly I ordered was not there. I called U-haul and was told the furniture dolly was out of stock in the whole city. But I had reserved one six days earllier!! They said well, there was no gurantee. Well, if so, they should have told me two days earlier in that phone call so that I could have enough time to look for a plan B. But no, they cheated me and I was caught off guard. Imagine moving all the furniture, the couch, the matress, solid wooden dining talbe, etc... without a dolly? This was the Christmas gift U-haul gave me.

Smooth experience. Our check in agent was very pleasant and thorough and thankfully was very patient, took the time to explain everything to us as this was our first time towing. The check back gentleman was also very pleasant. All in all 5 stars ⭐️.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi. Clean facility. Clean vehicles which are always ready to go. Many packaging items for sale which will help your move go smoothly. Online registration and drop off is a great option to have. No where to park your own vehicle.

I rented a trailer for car transportation over the weekend, and the staff patiently explained to me how to use the trailer, various precautions, and a more than 10 page manual. Ideally, I successfully transported the vehicle to the location. Reasonable prices, professional and friendly employees！ All 5🌟 Highly recommended.
