Transat Travel

Gina should not have a job here, let alone anywhere that involves customer service. She is very rude, doesn't respond to calls/emails and takes weeks-months to fix mistakes that she made. I recently booked a trip with a group of 10 people and she charged everyone of us a different rate. Why? Only God knows because she wouldn't give anyone a straight answer. Do not leave your credit card information with her as she will charge you a random rate, and for extra things such as insurance, and will not provide you with the insurance information and then will deny she charged you. Good luck at getting a refund, it will never happen (I finally gave up and just repuchashed elsewhere). She made mistakes on the spelling of several group members as well as their birth dates which took weeks on end to fix. She will tell you she'll do it by the end of the day and then ghost you and ignore your calls, unless you call from a different phone number or visit her in person, which she'll just turn you away and say, "I'm busy, I'll do it later". When visiting her in person, you'll notice that she is extremely unprofessional, will talk over you, and not to mention, her desk looks like a bomb went off. She is terribly unorganized which is scary considering all the confidential information she has. I am honestly baffled that she still has a job here considering how rude she is and all of the one star ratings she has here. Dealing with her was definitly the top 3 worst people I've dealt with in customer service in my life. Because of everything mentioned above and more, I will never book a trip through Transat again, and I suggest you don't either. God forbid anything goes wrong on our trip because I have 0 faith in Transat to assist. Management needs to do better and hire people who are actually competent, respond to client inquires in a timely fashion, and understand how customer service works. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable.

Nancy was amazing to work with! She helped us find an incredible resort on short notice, and it ended up being the best vacation we’ve ever had. Everything was seamless, and her recommendations were spot on. She’s knowledgeable, responsive, and truly cares about her clients. We’re already looking forward to booking our next trip with her, highly recommend!

The most seamless and amazing experience having Nancy as our travel agent. She was able to plan the most amazing trip to Japan for my boyfriend and I. Not only were all the events planned amazing she was able to accommodate any changes we wanted to make. We got folders of our schedule and all of our passes needed and organized for us in Japan. To say this was the trip of a life time and I would have never been able to make it so magical and easy without the help of Nancy! If you are ever booking a trip and want to make the process easier I would HIGHLY suggest using Nancy.

My mother and I just recently returned from another wonderful trip all planned and excellently executed by Laurie Lafferty. This was our third adventure with the group and we have been thoroughly impressed by the amazing customer service Laurie provides. She always works so hard to make sure everyone has an amazing experience. She goes above and beyond and we can’t thank her enough for helping us create such beautiful memories that we will cherish forever. Can’t wait for our next adventure!

We have had the pleasure of booking many vacations with Susan Ross of Transat Vacations located at the Pen Centre in St Catharines On. Sue has been an absolute professional in her handling of our bookings and she has gone the extra mile to make sure that all of our needs were met and that each of our vacations was the best it could be. Sue has a warm and friendly personality. She has offered suggestions when needed, and she dealt promptly with issues when they arose. We have been so impressed with Sue, that we have suggested her as a travel agent for our family and friends and now they are returning to her for all of their bookings. We have been fortunate to be able to travel a lot as a retired couple and we feel extremely lucky to have a wonderful agent, and now friend like Susan, to handle all of our vacations.
