Towards Recovery Clinic

Not only where they unprofessional, but the staff breached confidentiality, and disclosed some of my information without me signing a consent form for the person they were talking too. Dr. David Langlois prescribed the wrong dosage of my seizures medication. When my mom had realized she called without telling me. I had not signed consent for the clinic to talk to my mom. One of the nurses talked to my mom without my permission. Somewhere in this communication which shouldn’t have even happened staff said my mom “accused Dr. Langlois of writing scrips incorrectly”. Which he literally did write the wrong dose! His mistake could have caused me to have a seizure. I’ve never had such an unprofessional doctor! The letter they gave me then proceeds to say my mom was “very controlling and disrespectful to are staff” The staff once again had no place talking to my mom who i did not have a consent form signed for. Because of this the clinic decided that they could no longer provide me care. They jeopardized my sobriety and safety over this doctor’s ego and a phone call which they should have dismissed right away. This is so not acceptable. I should not have had there frustrations with my mom taken out on me.

Have been with them for a while and they are the best clinic for this need in the Niagara Region. Dr. McCloud is the best doctor here.

Some places just want to get you in and out so they can get their money from your dose but the doctors here are very genuine in my eyes and actually care for your wellbeing. I have been to other clinics and this one is by far the nicest one I have dealt with and I will not leave unless I absolutely have too!!! Also it's very clean and they place cleaner in the bathroom so you can insure your using a clean toilet! Definitely 5 stars!! 🌟

This place should be criminally charged with negligence. It is absolutely sickening. Doctors do not call when they say they will, and then disappear from the office. They fail to fax carries to the pharmacy. Lower doses way too quickly and raise them way too slowly. And this is CONSTANT, every single week. It is unbelievable the way the secretary speaks to people, it is an absolute disgrace. This is not a place that helps people, it is a death sentence. Shame on you.

Do not recommend if you have any level of self respect. The secretary has a massive attitude and is very rude, not a good fit for working with people suffering from addictions, the Dr is also very condescending and egotistical. Some other problems you’ll encounter would include, missing prescriptions, faxes not being sent to pharmacy’s, holding your generic medications hostage. I would advise avoiding this clinic like it’s the plague.
