Thorold Laundry

I have been going here weekly for over a year and I will no longer be returning. Every time I’m here, I have issues. -Change machine out of change or out of order. -Machines eat my coins. -Dryers don’t dry clothes properly (and before you come @ me with your “was it overfilled” no I split my loads into multiple dryers to avoid this). -Washers take my money and then don’t even turn on because handles or door latches are broken (happened tonight with the big one at the back that didn’t have an “out of order” sign on it). -And the last straw was tonight when I noticed after drying my clothes that the washer didn’t even wash them properly as I could still see some were still dirty (this has happened twice now but luckily I caught it before drying last time and had to rewash and spend even more money. And no, it’s not overfilled). Yes they do respond quickly when you contact but there shouldn’t be this many issues ALL the time. Also, you should really get these washers cleaned properly on the inside. The amount of disgusting buildup inside them is just 🤢.

Terrible, over priced, pretty much $5 a load and barely fits a regular sized load of laundry. Did not even have the washer crammed full and it still doesn't wash properly, i had shirts still dirty that a 2 second hand wash couldve cleaned..Insert loonies into the coin machine to get no quarters in return. Constantly putting in quarters over and over again after they come out the coin return because they're very poorly maintained. And then on top of it they say they close at 9pm, I work all day and had very little time to do things. My clothes were still in there at about 8:40 and I could see the lady throwing a fit like a child outside because I still had stuff in there. Absolute embarrassment. Avoid at all costs your clothes wont even be cleaned. Don't be in there anytime after 8 or else. How dare you stay in there during their posted business hours and make a dent in their drinking time..

What an absolute disaster. I used this laundry mat a few years ago absolutely amazing. I own a laundry business and needed to change because the other place i used was closed. Lost quite a bit of money using the dryers. The doors would open or they just didn't heat up enough to dry. What a horrible experience would highly recommend the owners to take care of their place. Will never return.

Not impressed....I came here once before and it was great. Don't know what happened but unfortunately it's gone downhill. I got there at 630 in the morning...all of the triple loaders were down except one, the change machine broke down after putting in $20. There a note stating to unplug it, plug it back in and it should work...not so much. There was an elderly gentleman there as well who was trying to get change. There was two numbers I reached out to and finally an hour later someone got back to me. When it was time to use the dryers...total money grab. The seals on the dryers barely holding on and you get a whole 3 min for a quarter. When the people finally showed up to "fix" the change machine it had been nearly two hours....I wasted 5 hrs of my day trying to get bedding done here...and it didn't even get cleaned...I have 6 blankets I have to redo BC the machines there aren't so great either.

I put the cloths in didn’t rinse them well, the houskeeper there said , you have put more cloths that capacaity but it was literally 3 towels and two sweaters, I ran the cycle on two different machines again separating the towels and sweaters my clothes came out dripping again, I wasted around $13 and Two hours of my time there, I texted the owner he read my message and never replied back. I would appreciate if they take some accountabiliy of the machines as if they are not working put not in use sign so that nobody has to Waste their time and money.
