Ordered 2 piece haddock fish and chips and was good fish, but chips were soaked in oil, couldn’t even eat the chips. Last time for this place.
View on GoogleBest fish I've ever had. The pieces were very thick and dense, and the breading was light. The poutine was a great upgrade to the meal.
View on GoogleThe owners are amazing at this restaurant!! The service is great, they tell you exactly what time it will be ready and its ready when you walk in for your pick up always in a reasonable time. Everything is cooked PER ORDER so its very fresh!! The portions fish and fries are big which is great especially feeding the kids that eat like horses!!! The mozza sticks……. Omg the pull of that cheese and cooked perfectly!!!!! Would 10/10 recommend Thorold fish and chips to everyone best fish and chips i have had!!!
View on GoogleOrdered a single haddock and chips. I grew up going to various fish and chip places (my dad used to run 3 prior to my birth), and I have enjoyed them many times over the years. I would agree with a few others here that it's not the best I've had (fish was a little soggy on the bottom), but overall, I would visit again if back in Thorold. I would have preferred seeing plates other than plastic, but that's just me being picky now. Very quiet place around 12:30-1 on a Friday. Meal was shy of $15.
View on GoogleThe fish was all right. Not the greatest I've had. But I'm kind of biased being from Nova Scotia and used to eating fresh fish. The atmosphere of this place was a real downer. The owner sat in front of his laptop and stared at it all the while I was there. The girl who did the cooking was very timid, as if almost afraid to be working there.. 1st and last time I will ever visit
