Thistle Bookshop and Cafe

One of the best matcha lattes I've had in a very cozy and fun atmosphere. Stayed a long time browsing books and merch and sipping. Staff was super friendly and the overall vibes were emaculate. And not to brag, but I did find Waldo in the bathroom wallpaper, not once, but twice! Great place, highly recommend.

I would have loved to spend more time in here, but it was extremely crowded (which is GREAT for the business) but every time I pulled a book out to look, I felt like I was going to bump a table. We also weren't greeted when coming in and nothing was said when leaving. Super cute and I love supporting local and small shops but a bit too much of a cramped space for me.

We stopped by Thistle Bookshop and Cafe this afternoon for coffee and had such a lovely experience. The space is warm, cozy, and perfect for relaxing with a drink or browsing books. The coffee was excellent, the service was genuinely friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. It’s the kind of place you want to stay in longer than you planned. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is so cute!! A cozy little cafe inside a gorgeous bookstore, what more do we need? I found that the book selection was very good, and they sold a variety of other related merchandise as well! Our coffees were both very good, we had a regular latte and a peppermint mocha. The coffee was smooth but not too strong, just my style. Both of our croissants were fresh and delicious too! They had quite a few tables and sitting areas given the size of the establishment. I will definitely be back here!

What a wonderful experience! A dream come true to sip a warm hot chocolate with a sweet treat while surrounded by books, literally. Super friendly and chatty staff. With a great selection of new releases right down to the classics, trinkets, puzzles, bookish stickers & pins, and swag. A quaint inviting nook that will have me visiting again. What a great find and a must if you love all things books and cafes. Think I will get one of their Thisle hoodies the next time I visit.
