I am extremely disappointed with the service we received at The Tower Hotel in Niagara Falls during what was supposed to be a very special occasion — our first wedding anniversary. We had brought an ice cream cake to celebrate at midnight. Since the mini fridge in our room was too small to fit the cake, we requested the reception around 7:00 PM if they could please store it in their freezer until 12:00 AM. They agreed and assured us they would take care of it. At 11:44 PM, I went to collect the cake, only to find it completely melted — it was liquid. No one informed us that there was any issue with storage. There was no apology in advance, no warning, nothing. By that time, everything nearby was closed, and our anniversary celebration was completely ruined. I was left crying and sobbing in the lobby on what should have been a beautiful memory for us. What hurt the most was the lack of accountability and empathy. There was no proper response, no effort to fix the situation, and no compensation offered. For a hotel that hosts guests celebrating special milestones, this level of service is unacceptable. We trusted the hotel staff with something important to us, and they failed us without even the courtesy of informing us. Very poor service and a heartbreaking experience. I would never suggest anybody should go there to celebrate anything in life.
View on GoogleWe spent one night at The Tower Hotel at Niagara Falls and stayed in one of the panoramic Falls view rooms. The view was absolutely stunning The room was very clean, and the hotel itself is so cute and cozy. The only disappointing part was the heater. It was very loud during the night, and we couldn’t sleep well because of the noise. Overall, it was a lovely stay for the view and cleanliness, but I hope they can fix the heater issue for future guests.
View on GoogleWe had a great time. The initial room that I had booked in the courtyard unfortunately had no heat and so we were moved to a different part of the hotel that wasn’t in the courtyard. But we were happy that they were able to accommodate us so quickly. It was very busy with kids and parents and had a nice family vibe. I had requested a partial refund since we were moved to a different room that was not in the courtyard and it was honoured. I did have to connect with Expedia because they were the third-party bookers. And both businesses worked well together. Very grateful for that because we did pay extra to have access directly to the pool area in the playground.
View on GoogleI was on the 29th floor in January with wintery conditions and the view was fantastic. Lifts are really quick. The staff were in the ground floor lobby and were lovely and helpful. The room was great, clean with coffee machine and heating you can control (i had it hot when i got in from -10° 🥶 to warm up and turned it cooler in the night) and good wifi connection. Plenty of local places to eat and main shopping area/casino was 5 min walk, as was the incline lift to the falls themselves.
View on GoogleWe loved this hotel! It was spotless, and we I loved the modern renovation (what a bathroom!). The hotel was comfortable - we enjoyed the fire place and TV, and tables & chairs where we enjoyed a snack in the sitting/living room on the main floor. We also checked out the observation deck which was lovely- view of the falls was great. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk to the OLG stage, so the location was great! Can't wait to return!
