The Shore: Waterfront Restaurant

This is my favorite restaurant in town! I come often and every time the food gets better. The menu is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is too notch. We just had my wife's 40th birthday brunch and they knocked it out of the park. They were able to handle 15 people with no issues at all. Everyone loved the menu, and they definitely gained some return customers. I'm surprised the place isn't always packed. It almost feels like a secret spot. The view alone is worth the stop. Highly recommend.

The Shore: Waterfront Restaurant is such a gorgeous spot to dine with friends. We grabbed a table by the windows (highly recommend at sunset) and soaked up the lake views while sharing plates and catching up. The seafood was fresh, the cocktails were bright and balanced, and everything came out beautifully presented. Service was friendly and unhurried—perfect pace for a relaxed evening. Between the breezy patio vibe and the scenery, it felt like a mini getaway. We’ll be back for another round of views and oysters soon!

We had a great time having dinner on the patio here! Drinks were great, food was very enjoyable and the location is beautiful! I’d love to come and sit inside next time since it looked so beautiful as well. Some of the younger servers are just a bit inexperienced, but the server who actually took care of us was great!

Looking for a restaurant with a scenic view, we were recommended this place by a Google search and it truly delivered. The dining room is huge and the view was nice, although it was raining, the view was still romantic with raindrops on the window. The service was excellent, and our server Sara was friendly and helpful. We ordered several appetizers and a couple of mains. As we waited for our appetizers, I noticed other tables received dinner rolls, but we didn’t. We didn't bother to ask for it since we had so much food coming. Now for the food: Appetizers: * Crab Cake: (8/10) This was well made, crispy on the outside, and soft, flaky, and well-seasoned on the inside. The sauces complimented it well and the presentation was well done. * Korean Fried Chicken: (9/10) Well made and bite-sized. The chicken pieces were evenly coated, and the sweet and spicy was perfectly balanced. * Fresh Mussels: (6/10) I would have plated it differently. The cream sauce needed more seasoning and slightly more wine. It was good, but it can be better. Main Courses: * Fish and Chips: (9/10) The fish was perfectly cooked with a golden, crispy coating and soft fish inside. The chips (fries) were okay. * The Shore Burger: (7/10) The brioche bun was soft and the burger was well-seasoned. The burger was good, but as a fan of old-fashioned burger patties, I was okay with it. Overall, the service was great, and the bathrooms were clean, although they needed stocking up on paper towels. My dining partners and I had a good experience and we would definitely return.

Great location on the lake next to the marina. If you decide to visit, the patio is definitely the way to go. Unfortunately the food is just average, especially for the price. I strongly advise against trying the chicken supreme - it was just a dry mushy chicken breast. Perhaps the steak would have been better, but I was not in the mood for red meat. You definitely pay for the views here and if this is what you're after, it is fine to give it a shot.
