Been trying for 3 months for an appointment They do not pick up the phone or read messages , If they're going to Cater to particular people, Then leave that voice message on the phone , So us low income people don't waste our time

I am compelled to express my extreme disillusionment and disappointment upon being denied the Christmas package due to my ineligibility for the child tax benefit. As a single disabled father, confined to a wheelchair since 2017, this year marks the first instance where I have been unable to provide my children with a Christmas that meets their expectations. Despite my efforts to seek assistance from the Salvation Army, my request was rejected, citing concerns that the mother may also receive a Christmas package. I suggested contacting the mother to ensure I was the sole recipient, but was told I was not listening. I was, in fact, listening and offered a viable solution to address their concerns. Having to seek assistance was a difficult experience, and being rejected has left me feeling helpless and underscores the challenges I face due to circumstances beyond my control. I hope that future requests for assistance will be met with empathy and understanding, and that individuals in similar circumstances will not be discouraged from seeking help.

Although I have only been twice, the ladies always made my visit easy. Their point system is a great way and really helps.
