Extremely disappointed! Supposed to be open until 4pm - at 2:45pm there was a person waiting for 10 minutes already outside. No one answered the door, no note, no one answered the phone, no message that they were closed early! A couple that come often rang the office doorbell - no one answered, no note. A few days later, outside sign shows 'closed until Jan. 3rd'... sadly, hunger does not take a holiday!!!
View on GoogleI walk by this place almost every day and I see people lined up for food assistance and nobody gets turned away. This place is a huge help to the community.
View on GoogleSalvation Army was awesome they helped me feel out some paperwork that I didn't understand. Because I have PTSD mental health problems in understanding things. And they just said take your time we're here to help you. Grizz
View on GoogleI don't know about this place, they have received so much money from our government and they still only hand out did that was donated. They expect 1 person to be able to feed themselves for a month on 9 items that you can pick from their pantry.
View on GoogleWith every need and or questions for help, The Fort Erie Salvation Army with their educated and diverse personal are usually able to either find help directly for you, or else connect you with the appropiate help. In addition to their social programs geared towards those who are facing utility disconnection they also operate a food back 3 days per week. They ALWAYS GO A STEP BEYOND what is hoped for. I thank God for all the great work I have personally seen and benifited from. Thank You Sslvation Army.
