My husband Bob and I recently participated in the seasonal decoration event followed by a wonderful lunch. I can't say enough about the two hostesses, Lauren and Krista, who made us feel welcome and described the residence answering our questions and explaining everything available. These employees were outstanding and shine brightly as they represent your property.
View on GoogleWe are OPT, and time really matters for us. One delay will cost us every call delayed, too. On March 20, 2025, at 02:22, we had a vulnerable patient to drop off at your facility, The Royal Henley Retirement Community. We called on the way to minimize the waiting time, but there was no answer. Upon arrival, we pressed the door bell in the front, and also we saw the sign after hour. Please press the button with the arrow pointing on it. We can hear the phone ringing inside, but there is no one answering. We pressed it maybe many, many times . We also knocked on the door, and we made sure it could be heard. Unfortunately, nobody heard us.. We walked around outside to see by the window if someone was cleaning or walking, and we did not see anyone. We had been calling the phone number . We can just hear it ringing. Even the hospital tried a few times, but the same thing was no answer We have a vulnerable patient waiting outside. With this delay, it caused undue distress and discomfort to our patient and slow down our operation. With this experience, it's very alarming what level of care and attention provided to the resident, particularly at nighttime. Employee response to us was "we did not see you in the Camera, we are doing our rounds and our phone did not ring"
View on GoogleI had a very frustrating experience at Royal Henley Retirement Community. I arrived with a patient around 2:25 AM on Thursday, March 20, and we had to wait for over an hour for someone to open door for us to get in. The patient was extremely upset. When we finally got inside, a staff member claimed she didn’t receive the call—even though I could hear the phone ringing while standing outside. Both the hospital and OPT tried calling multiple times, but no one answered. This kind of delay during emergencies or patient transfers is unacceptable. I urge management to take action to ensure staff are more responsive and prevent similar situations in the future.
View on GoogleMy family recently had a tour with Lauren at Royal Henley for my grandmother. The experience was nothing short of perfect!! Lauren was friendly, helpful, and kind. The home was gorgeous, clean and inviting. All staff we encountered on our tour were engaging and nice. The lunch we had was delicious. My grandmother even got to hold a baby chick, which was one of the many programs taking place that day. All of the residents seemed so happy, active, and were proud to share their experiences. If you are looking for a home for a loved one, I absolutely recommend you check out Royal Henley.
View on GoogleMy mother is newly moved in and absolutely LOVES it. The staff are beyond wonderful, the menu in the dining room very nice and the food is great (I've eaten there with mom). They have a nice daily menus PLUS a standard menus if you don't like the daily menus. They will even do special orders like if you want bacon and eggs for dinner...you got it. The staff are all very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. By the end of moms first day every staff member who met her greeted her by name. I can't speak highly enough about Royal Henley.
