I attended the IFS PARTS WORK IN PLAY training series on development and case formulation and found it very helpful. I found Jodie to be straight up, raw, warm and delightful. Her approach is matter of fact, detailed and makes a lot of sense to me.

IFS Parts Work in Play training experience with Jodi! Absolutely, the most impactful training I have taken thus far in my learning Journey. Small group size with interactive role play(s), were extremely helpful for understanding concepts and gaining confidence with the model. Great instructor, very knowledgable, fun to listen to, with an ability to break-down complicated ideas in ways that are easy to understand.. Thanks jodi for the opportunity.

I recently attended a training with Jodie, and it was one of the most realistic and impactful trainings I’ve done. The material was presented in a really engaging way, with clear clinical language that was thoroughly explained and easy to apply in real-life practice. The use of real-world examples made the content feel grounded and incredibly relevant. I really appreciated the honest and relatable teaching style — highly recommend!

Amazing! We have been attending as a family with individual counsellors since I think May of 2024. I initially went there after speaking with Jodie, the owner, and she was very knowledgeable on what I was dealing with. The support we have had there has been incredible and we are finally on a path where all complexities of our situation are understood and acknowledged. It’s also been nice that now all of our mental health care is under one roof. My kids feel safe and comfortable there seeing Ash and Hailey. Jodie is straightforward and gets to the point which I appreciate very much after experiencing some other professional counsellors in early years that can dance around an issue and leave you feeling like you wasted time and money. Jodie is also very involved with her team and making sure that everyone is well informed and on the same page. I feel like there is a cyclical approach there which I value and appreciate. Any interactions I’ve had with the other staff there have always been very welcoming. Jess at the front desk is awesome as well. If you are new to the idea of play therapy, it’s so much more than you think and not everyone has to play there. They work with where you are at and offer so many things so please don’t be intimidated or feel shy. We also do Neurofeedback there which is very relaxing and helps to regulate the mind. It was a new concept to us initially but now 3 of us each look forward to it. One of my sons is still reluctant to it because it does look a little funny when you’re all set up. The clinic has also worked with our budget and made it affordable for us to be able to get consistent care for the family and the help we need. I am so thankful to have them in our lives! Overall, I highly recommend them and it’s definitely not all work and no play ;)
