I ordered for $18.00 a quiche and greens nothing else in salad. My slice of quiche was very small like a sliver of a pie slice and greens filled a small plate. Service was very slow. Waited 25 min for quiche of the day and greens tossed. Salad dressing did not have much flavour, I did not know it was on my green leaves had to ask server. I will not be returning to this place in the future sorry to say but I tried to support local. Price is way too high for a sliver of quiche and a few green leaves.
View on GoogleHad *the* most wonderful cup of tea while visiting with friends on a rainy day! The Peach Promenade was full of tart and robust flavours served up piping hot in a huge mug!
View on GoogleGreat little place, very clean and wonderful baked goods. Visited close to closing so you need to go early as they do sell out and every seems to be baked fresh daily. They did have some wonderful assortment boxes of end of day items they were still fresh and delicious and a great way to try an assortment of items and a good price. Will definitely return.
View on GoogleIncredible bakery and cafe!. The pastries tasted really fresh, and their pies were delicious! 🤤 Friendly staff, and nice cozy atmosphere.
View on GoogleThis place is so charming! The service is warm and friendly and there is an a lovely selection of baked goods for sale. I had lunch there and tried two of the grilled cheeses (pickle, and roast beef). They were overpriced for how simple they were, but decent sandwiches nevertheless. The roasted corn chowder was nice. The London fog latte was very disappointing as it was pretty much a cup of warmed up sweetened milk with a tea bag plopped in as if it were an afterthought. No froth. I hope this was a one-off mistake. Pies are where they really shine. With the Guinness beef pie, you get nice chunks of beef, potatoes and carrots in a rich flavourful gravy tucked inside a lovely flaky and tender crust. I am not a fan of sweet pies, but their delicious Strawberry Rhubarb has converted me. I also tried their chocolate oatmeal cookies to go...they were reminiscent of Dad's oatmeal cookies. If you love pie and charming cafes, i would absolutely recommend this place.
