I had the pleasure of receiving a gift of a mini spa sampler the duration for that is three hours. I sure got a fantastic Swedish massage by Julie, the owner! I went in there with terrible knots in my neck and upper back due to stress and she had taken that all away completely! It was the best I had felt in months. The Tudor house was lovely. Sort of reminded me of the movie ‘The Holiday’ with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law, like a little English cottage divided into several different little rooms, well decorated, well lit but not too much and it just left me in awe. Julie focused mainly on my upper back as requested and lower back and finished off on my lower body for the last five minutes then she proceeded to start the facial massage. All of the products she used had a different scent, which was really beautiful. I had asked her about the products and they were high-end from Europe also available for purchase. There were several hot towels in between each process, one being a facial peel. At this point, I was so calm and relaxed. I didn’t want to leave, EVER! It was at that very point that I decided that this is something I deserve, and I will treat myself every couple of months. After I left the massage room, I proceeded to the manicure pedicure area. She brought a nice big bowl of hot soapy water for my feet. I was impressed by the style of chairs that she used for pedicures. It was unlike any I’ve seen before.. she did a really good job on my pedicure. Then I proceeded to the table and chair to receive a manicure with so many colours to choose from. Just off from that room was a separate room where sugaring and waxing is done, and every single room was so well decorated. I really was truly impressed. It was a very welcoming atmosphere unlike any place I’ve ever been before. The ambiance of it all was part of its charm. Julie was very nice to speak with and professional. The worst part was when it ended and that is the only thing I can say negative, which has no impact on Julie or her beautiful Spa. Three things that I would suggest are: make sure you go without make up on, have your hair tied up and bring sandals or flip-flops to wear out if receiving the pedicure. She does offer foot coverings as other salons do but the outside is a little gravelly and you can feel it through those on your feet. She was kind enough to offer me to stay as long as I’d like until the polish dried, but that never happens quickly for me so I left. I really did want to stay though! It’s just such a beautiful surrounding. I can’t say enough beautiful things about this place or Julie or the massages I received. Make sure you book an appointment. It is so worth it and you will be really pleased. Great idea for Christmas presents for the person who has everything or just needs some pampering! I wanted to add photos, but the ones she has on her website here truly do tell it all!

My wife and I had a couples massage and couples Spa facials on Saturday and it was the best massage and facial we ever had. All products are high end coming from Europe. Was able to get rid of my eye bags. What a huge difference in my skin. The Spa room was the best we’ve ever seen. Clean, cozy, beautiful Spa. We highly recommend Julie and Lydia for massage and facials.

I went in to get my nails done for my wedding this October. I loved the conversation and how easy going and relaxed the environment was. She helped me find themed ideas and customized my nails for the wedding specifically. Normally nails do not last longer then 5 days even when I get them professionally done but I got them on October 25th and I still have them with no signs of chipping or peeling 2 weeks later! I highly recommend for anyone looking to get their nails done in the area.

Love La Petite Retreat! I found them close to our new place off of a quick Google search and I’m so happy I did! Excellent customer service and great prices. I especially love Tara, she’s hilarious and does the absolute best nails and sugaring. Book in and treat yourself, they’ve got amazing promos on this month!

Love this spa! Went last spring with my mom for some spa sessions. I had the Swedish Massage and a Reflexology Massage. My mom had a Deep Tissue Massage and a Reflexology Massage. We both loved the different massages. The Reflexology ones were our favorites. The masseurs did a great job. The spa is in a Victorian/Tudor style older home so it's a cool vibe inside with the layouts of the rooms. The spa room was very relaxing with the lighting, beds and scents. The business offers lots of fun, relaxing, massages on site. It's recommended to book in advance.
