The Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel thanks to sofiia. She was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. She helped me with everything I needed and made sure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Sophia truly goes above and beyond for guests. Her friendly attitude, patience, and excellent service made a big difference in my visit. She is an amazing person and a great example of outstanding customer service. Stayed in the King Premium Suite (20th floor, Room 2017) and the view was absolutely incredible — the main reason we booked, and it did not disappoint. The furniture is a bit dated, but we came for the view and it was worth it. They allowed early check-in since our room was ready, which we appreciated. We also received restaurant vouchers, which was a nice touch. Great location — 2-minute walk to the incline railway and easy access to public transportation. Parking at the hotel is $50, but there are cheaper options nearby. Sharing a video of the room and view!

My wife and I stayed there a few nights in February for my birthday. We were upgraded to a suite on the 14th floor. The view of the falls was spectacular. I found the room to be pretty nice - Clean and very spacious. A good experience overall.

The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous. We got a room with a jacuzzi and going in the winter, we really appreciated it after all day walking. The bed was very comfortable. They have a small coffee bar in the lobby that was good. The only thing I would say could be better is updating the furniture. Knobs are loose and I opened a drawer and almost couldn't shut it.

We always choose this hotel whenever we visit, and it truly feels like our home away from home. From the moment we arrive, the staff are warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure our stay is comfortable and stress-free, whether it’s helping with special requests, giving local recommendations, or just greeting us with a smile. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing and inviting. Every visit has been consistently excellent, which is why we keep coming back. It’s rare to find a place where the service is this genuine and dependable every single time. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Niagara, this hotel is simply the best, and the amazing staff are a big part of what makes it so special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and comfortable place to stay.
