The Local eat+drink

Food was great. Had the stuffed chicken breast. Our server was the bartender and she was great. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday night. The sign in the bathroom kinda turned me off though

Went to The Local in Beamsville for breakfast. The food was okay — nothing special and not really something to write home about. All of our dishes came out at different times, so some of us were waiting while others were eating. The waitress was polite and fine overall, just not very attentive. The atmosphere was decent but a little on the boring side. On the plus side, there’s lots of parking which is convenient. Overall, it was an average experience — not terrible, but nothing that makes me want to rush back either.

Good spot for a quick bite with a casual restaurant feel that is tasty with good service. Ordered the seafood linguine it was a little bland; and the Asiago mushroom was delicious, chicken was grilled well and the veggies were delicious.

amazing experience. came to watch paige and jesse play and they rocked it!! for drinks our table got the pink (7/10), red (9/10), and white sangria (10/10) which were on for the friday $8 special. totally worth it and delicious!! also got a bellini (sub champagne for 7up) which was SO GOOD got the asian wonton nachos were FULLY LOADED like WOW. every wonton was packed with toppings which was awesome got the duck bao buns as well which were salty but it balanced out with the vegetables in it. overall great food and drink experience! the waitress we had was so fun too! she treated us like family and took the time to chat when she would come by very homey vibe to the restaurant and awesome vibes overall we had a great experience and would love to come back in the future!!

Food was amazing but service was snail mail slow. There were flies flying and buzzing around inside the restaurant. We came here at lunchtime and the hostess, server and bartender was the same person. I even said to him he was a one man show. We waited a long time for our food and drinks but we didn’t mind as we were not in a rush nor starving. Having said that, the food was beautifully presented given this is just a pub place, a bit pricey in my opinion but presentation is everything for me so I would gladly pay for that. However, there was a sewer smell coming either from the washroom or somewhere else while we were sitting so I am giving it a one star for atmosphere and the flies buzzing around was very unpleasant.
