The Lancer Family Restaurant

I've been going to you know the Lancer since I was a kid and I'm now in my mid-30's. I think ownership has changed hands a couple of times in those years, however it didn't seem to affect food or service. The current owner has spruce up and replaced things that need it while still keeping the same small diner restaurant vibe. I have two girls 7 and 5, this is their favourite place to go for breakfast on the weekend. When they want to go here, they literally say "can we go to our favourite place for today", it's so cute haha :)

We came in for some Sunday breakfast, and absolutely was not disappointed. There were 7 of us, so we naturally knew itd take a bit more time for a table of that size to be seated right away. But we were seated immediately, witch was amazing, especially because it was so busy. Our food was brought out quickly, and tasted amazing. We loved the homemade Hollandaise sauce. I believe our server was Alicia. She was amazing. Super fast, friendly and accurate. My boyfriend's egg wrap was just a tad too well done for his liking, and Alicia was so friendly and helpful with removing it from my bill. The rest of the staff were also really great. We cant wait for this to be our "morning after drinking" breakfast place

Had a good experience here. Im gluten free, and felt safe with my food. The gf toast was yummy! We went on a Monday and Mondays are cookie day! Very fun idea. Potato seasoning always yummy. Nice serving size. Staff was very nice and helpful with questions. Nice place to go to, lots of windows natural light.

Very good breakfast experience! We deive over 1000miles and definitely needed a good meal! The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious!

My go-to breakfast place, has been for many years and I’m never disappointed. The waitresses are extremely friendly and welcoming and the food is always delicious. The bacon they have here is to die for, it’s a must have if you find your way over here. The Lancer has been a Niagara staple for decades and it will continue to be so, as long as the food stays good and the service stays healthy this delightful breakfast place is going nowhere.
