The Hare by far is the best winery in Niagara. The ambiance is stunning but more than that is the experience each and every time we visit. From the staff to the one on one visits from the owner, John Hare, the service is exceptional and you feel like you are walking into your living room full of family. Oh and their wines are amazing and delicious. No matter which ones you taste, you are in for an exceptional experience. When in Niagara, you MUST visit The Hare and don't forget to get some cookies, John Hare's grandmother's Scottish recipe and all proceeds go to an amazing cause. Thank you Hare for always making sure we have a true and authentic experience each time we visit. Don and Shannon Pecora
View on GoogleSuch a welcoming and charming winery! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The wines are elegant and beautifully crafted, and the pizza is absolutely delicious. Their house-made hot sauce is a standout — so flavourful and the perfect touch. A truly lovely experience all around. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleThe winery has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and professional, which makes the experience feel relaxed and personal. There is a wide and well-curated selection of wines, along with many charming and thoughtfully designed small products. This is a place run with care, intention, and long-term commitment. Highly recommended🙂
View on GoogleThe Hare Wine Company is a stunning winery offerring excellant wines. The tasting room is spacious and beautifully designed with gorgeous views of the vineyard. The Hare family has been making wine for over 100 years starting in Bulgaria. Small batch VQA reds, whites, rose and icewine. Everything we tasted had depth and complexity! Great textures, aromas, and balance. My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings)
View on GoogleSuch a cute winery with some good wines. If you like sweeter whites, they have a lot of good ones. My husband and I both did a tasting, so we ended up trying 8 wines on the menu, I can say the whites were my favourite. We also got a charcuterie board to share which was pleasant. Our server was lovely. We ended up leaving with a bottle of Vidal and special edition white.
