The Grand Canal Retirement Residence

My experience with The Grand Canal Retirement Home has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care. My Brother Len was a resident and I myself seen first hand how the staff operate on a daily basis. Len requires a lot of care. The staff go above and beyond every day to ensure that all residents feel safe, respected, and engaged. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, and it’s clear that this is more than just a retirement home—it’s a community. The facilities are beautifully maintained, the meals are delicious and nutritious, and there are always a variety of activities and events to keep everyone involved and active.

My mother spent 10 mths at the Grand Canal and has now been placed in long-term care. She absolutely loved it there, she says it was the happiest time in her life! I spent several weeks shopping around for a retirement home for her and settled on the Grand. The minute I walked through the door I felt that she was the one! The staff and management are friendly and professional! The food, cleanliness, ambience, view, entertainment and residents are top notch!!

Welland Grand Canal Retirement Home is one of the greatest places for our elderly retirees to enjoy their days. With their beautiful rooms to their amazing weekly entertainment every other day. It’s a very beautiful well maintained clean place with an amazing staff thru out the whole building. 3 freshly prepared meals for the residents every day along with daily activities for the residents to never get bored. I would recommend Welland Grand Canal to all of my elderly friends and family members.

Peoples dinner looked good. Mine was chicken. Not good,at all. The strips of fried peppers good. Small meal,but you can get more. With salad & dessert.Plenty. Not good last time either. Beautiful place,lots of activities.

Brandy and the health care team at The Grand Canal are thoughtful and caring. My parents transitioned from moving into their family home to the Grand Canal and the staff made it smooth and stress free! We're so thankful we were able to connect with this retirement residence.
