I would give the room more stars. But I found that I got the honeymoon suite. There was a light by the front door with a little counter there that I was using to do my makeup and the light stopped working the second day.I was there and wouldn't work again.Which was kind of annoying, but I may do and used my mirror but hopefully you guys can fix that for somebody also I found that the jacuzzi didn't work in suite 320 i'm hoping you guys can fix that.So it works like the most.I could get it to stay on was for ten minutes. And even if I could get it on there's times I couldn't even get it to start. So I got so annoyed with it.I'm hoping to book another room in july.Which would be the same type of room either a honeymoon, suite or the king's suite with spa?But I want the jacuzzi to work.I'm hoping i would be booking my room from july 21st to july 25 i'm just hoping the next time I go. I have a little bit of better experience with Jacuzzi and it'd be nice if you guys could also serve waffles every day instead of just on the weekend. Also, it would be nice to be able to have the cream cheese during the week. For your bagel and not just butter and peanut butter and jam. The cream cheese was only available on the weekend, which was strange. I never had a problem with any of the staff. I found them pretty much very friendly. Some of them didn't say much. But it's not like they were rude or anything. Like I said, there was a couple things I wasn't happy about. But like overall, it wasn't that bad cause I would come back again. Which I plan to come back again?

I’m at 19 year old female who was coming in alone, and while checking into my room at the glengates hotel, I had booked a reservation for one night on booking.com and it was 67$ and it was for 2 people. “Ananehu”(this was the name I was told by them when I asked for his name) was the man checking me in and I had asked if there was another night we could stay and I asked including the 67$ I already paid how much would it be and he had said 171$. Afterwards, I was finishing checking in. He had taken my debit card and told me he would put the charge on my card and then he handed me my room keys told me the number of my room and had told me that there was TWO keys inside of the envelope. As I go upstairs to my room, I pull out the room keys and there’s only one in there. So naturally, I go back downstairs and I ask where the other key card is because he’s had said I had two of them, and he was frantically searching everywhere, including his pockets and then ended up, pulling it out of his left pants pocket and had re-scanned both of my cards, and I had gone up to my room after that, waiting for my boyfriend to get to the hotel. Whom I was waiting for in the very first place. I thought this was very unprofessional and definitely, not what protocol is. We later had a mixup where they thought we were only staying for one night because that’s what was booked so we had to go down and explain that the previous night I had asked the guy to add another night onto my card it ended up being $200 that I wasn’t willing to pay just for one more night so we decided to pack our stuff and go, but as we went back up to the room and we were packing Ananehu had called our room saying that if we wanted the price for the room we were already in was going to cost 220 but he could give us a 10% discount which would get us to $200, i’m assuming it was his boss who had taken the phone after he had said that and said no that’s not right it’s $180 for the room for this night. I said that was still too much money either way, and I wasn’t wanting to pay that and when I asked Ananehu what his reasoning was for putting the key card in his pocket, he told me that they were running out of key cards for the hotel so he had to keep it for an extra. And when I said that that’s fine and all, but you had to put it in your pocket and had told me that there was two in the envelope when I got here he said he was sorry and that it was unprofessional, but that he just needed the extra card and he wasn’t lying. Personally, this is very unprofessional and made me super uncomfortable and feel VERY unsafe. I think that if you were to need an extra card, you should disclose that to the person whose room you have the card for and on top of that you should be placing it in a more secure place like in the hotel desk or somewhere like that instead of in your pants pocket. Moral of the story I found it very unprofessional of this place and unsafe. And for the conditions of the hotel, I do not think that $220 for one room and one night is valid.

Me and my partner booked the place for 2 days. It was affordable and looked good. A great winter storm hit us and we had to be inside most of the time. Everything was outstanding and fantastic. Every employee was extremely kind and helpful. All of them have a great customer service. Rooms were clean and comfy. We had to stay an extra day due to the storm, and we had no problems at all. Great experience, specially for couples and families.

The hotel is reasonably located with free parking which is a bonus. The pricing was also reasonable. You get daily room service if needed. There is a machine for cash withdrawal on site. The breakfast was very basic and there was no variety to it. The tables in the kitchen area were often left unclean after other guests had used them. The room I had was fairly comfortable but the walls were thin. You could hear when the guest next door turned on the shower or flushed the toilet. The carpets in the hallway were worn and somewhat smelly. Overall it was OK for a short stay, but not for longer.

Would like to start with positive - we called that we were travelling with yound kids and we were running early - they allowed us an hour early check in. We really appreciated that. Now come to the other side of the stay. Overall comfortable I would say but dont expect much. Its a value for money place. Location is good but still 15mins walk or 7-8 drive to the falls and Cliffton Hills. Parking is free on the site. Pretty old and not very well maintained premises we felt. Carpets in both rooms were old and bit smelly. Wallpaper in the room was ripped and had stains at some places. Bathroom is terribly small and not more than one person even stand inside at the same time. Beds were comfortable but bedsheets were not in pristine condition. We stayed for one night so wasn't a big deal but would consider twice if had to stay more than that. Breakfast room is decent sized and well equipped for the guests but would not say the same for the breakfast. They serve continental but had to ask multiple times for missing breakfast items. Last but not the least, staff is the shining light of this place. Humble, polite and offered top notch customer service.
