The Forty Public House

If you are celiac (or have any food allergies) I would suggest picking somewhere else to eat. I ordered a chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun. When I received it and went to take off the poorly cooked floppy bacon I noticed there were what looked like deep fried onions on my sandwich. I asked if this was for sure gluten free, and… it wasn’t. I do feel they were apologetic about this oversight and wanted to make it right however at this point everyone else would be done eating and truthfully I didn’t trust that anything I was served would actually be gluten free. We also had to request new fries for the entire table as they were undercooked on the inside but completely floppy (like a noodle) and extremely greasy. The new batch they brought was better but still not great. The rest of the food served was just okay. The manager did apologize to us and took my meal off the bill (which… I only ate a side salad from). They also gave us a 20$ credit for us to come back, however I would have been more grateful if this had been applied to our meal today as truthfully… we will never return.

We had great service, everything was clean. Food was okay, we got the ribs and wings. Generous portion of fries, ribs were decent but the wings were definitely lacking. Couldn’t taste the sauce at all, had a strong taste of oil. They were on the smaller size and I would have expected 5 or 6 for the price instead 4.

Our party of five popped in for a late lunch today and we were served tasty food with fabulous friendly service. As plant based patrons we especially enjoyed the grilled veggie wrap - beautifully presented and delicious. Other dishes enjoyed were honey garlic wings and chicken cheese nachos - finger licking good. Our server was attentive, efficient, and kind. Thanks for a terrific experience!

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. A special shoutout to our server, Skye, who truly made the evening exceptional. She was warm, attentive, and made great recommendations. Her friendly energy added so much to our meal. She was so good to the kids. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We stopped here for a quick bite, and The Forty was a great choice. Our server was super fun and informative about the surrounding area and things to do. We got to try some local brews, and the cauliflower wings were excellent. They have a nice seating area out front, and our doggo enjoyed hanging out under the table.
