The Casablanca Hotel

Was booked this place for 2 days walking in it was so stunning... the rooms were like motel rooms but there are so many high class hotels around it was perfect to feel comfortable in... the little gym they had was awesome a little bit of everything for anyone

My husband and me have stayed 2 times now … Room is clean and comfortable bed .. very clean and nice restaurant !! Last time we stay the receptionist Danielle was so very nice and check us in very quickly.. This time staff was not so nice as last girl .. older lady was in a bad mood when we check in and ask for fan, they had no fan .

We attended the APA Canadian Poultry show October 17, 18 and 19 2025 from Ohio, USA and stayed at this hotel. The grand staircase was beautiful as you enter. Great shops and food all around the outside of the hotel. Our room was HOT and the air turned up all the way but not working well at all! Asked for a fan but was told all they had were already in use. Sad that the main dining room on the 8th floor was closed, but Bogy's bar and grill had great food and drinks, but we're NOT ready for our LARGE group, even after multiple times talking to them about the number of people coming. Sad when told they were tearing the hotel down soon!

It's an old hotel that's about to be demolished, so it hasn't been kept very well. The rooms were comfortable and clean enough that we slept well every night. It was affordable, and as expected we got the basics we needed. Will go back if I need a place in Grimsby before November. Staff were very kind and helpful. Hallways were noisy at night and the mornings, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Location had many walkable food options and close to the highway

The Casablanca Hotel gets 5 stars and 💯 percent from our family for saving a wedding 💒. On Friday night the bride and groom were informed that the Grand Olympia had closed their doors and there would be no wedding the next day. The bride and groom were distraught. What are we going to do? The parents of the groom came from out of town and were staying at The Casablanca Hotel for the wedding. We took a look at the cascading staircase that greets you as you walk in the front door - we asked the front desk staff (Helen) and within half an hour the manager, events coordinator (Jennifer), and the Chef 🧑‍🍳 were speaking to the bride and groom. And they pulled out all the stops to make it happen. They were a Godsend. On the Saturday the happy couple were married in the most beautiful room of stained glass windows. The dinner was served in the Grand Ballroom and it was the most tender chicken I’d ever tasted. The reception was beautiful and The Casablanca Hotel did a wonderful job- going above and beyond- with less than 24 hours notice. We are fortunate to have such great people like you in the world. Cannot thank you enough. Thanks 🙏 from the bottom of our heart ❤️
