The Burgh

Honestly, best burgers I have ever had (especially smash burger style). This place has even made me ok with bbq sauce on my burgers! Stephanie and the crew are amazing people, who put out amazing and honest food that isn't at a ridiculous price point. My only complaint is that they aren't open later. Love this place. And don't sleep on their Jamaican patties! Thanks guys!

I recently visited The Burgh in Thorold and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The smash burgers were juicy and flavorful, made with fresh, high-quality beef that melted in my mouth. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the cozy atmosphere even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this gem for a satisfying meal!

Drove some distance to get the last burgers of the day on Saturday night. We headed home with the car smelling incredible. We dove into these like it was our last meal. Really great burgers. The Nutter particularly stood out as real tasty treat. We've had peanut butter on a burger before, however the flavour really was excellent! Thank you.

A great burger and fries in Thorold! You can definitely taste the freshness and won't be disappointed with flavors. Although it's takeout only and the price is a little high for the portion size, I still enjoyed it a lot. I had no issues with my burger although my wife said the popper needed more jalapeno and less cream (said the cream overwhelmed the burger and couldn't taste the jalapeno) but loved the meat. I was craving fries so that's the reason I came today and it hit the spot. Thick cut spuds that taste like a chip truck minus the extra grease. I'll definitely stop for another burger and fries sometime.

Delicious food, amazing service, only held back by the location. I got the Mac Daddy burger, fries with dill dip, and a Frostie root beer. The burger held together much better than I expected considering it's basically an entire barbecue dinner on a burger, and it was delicious. The fries were the perfect mix of crispy outside and fluffy inside. Stephanie is super knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and an absolute sweetheart. She's gonna do everything in her power to make sure you have a good experience. The location is the only down side, but I am heavily biased against bar settings. There are tables available outside (weather permitting), and in the bar, but neither are overly comfortable. I'd suggest grabbing your food and a drink then heading to one of the many benches around town if you don't like the available seating options. Definitely a spot you should try out if you like good burgers, just don't expect a typical restaurant experience because it isn't your typical restaurant. It would probably be a perfect 5 star if I enjoyed a bar setting more.
