The Breakfast Barn

I am a local and have been here many times. The service is absolutely amazing! The staff make you feel at home and the speed at which you get your food is amazing. It’s fast so you’d expect the food to be mediocre, but it’s great. It’s a small place so it’s easy to miss. I hope you don’t though because it’s a hole in the wall you definitely want to see! 11/10 would recommend!

Cash only! But at least they have signs that clearly state that at the entrance. The also have an ATM inside which was the only reason we stayed. Portions were increadibly generous. How generous? Well my side order of crisp bacon arrived and there were no less than 7 full sized pieces! Wow! Most restaurants 3 or 4 pieces. The Greek omlete was stuffed with feta cheese and black olives. The home fries? Well... they were just that. Pan fried potatoes with sauted onions seasoned perfectly just like Mom used to make after church on Sunday morning. The exterior and interior best described as "Rustic" but don't judge this book by its cover. Clean establishment including the bathroom. Obviously a hidden gem and popular with the locals. A good meal awaits. You won't be disappointed.

Based on a recommendation, I went in to try breakfast while I waited to pickup a friend across the street at the hospital. Had Sausage, Eggs and Home Fries along with Rye Toast that appeared to be sour dough rye? Well; it was outstanding! So good in fact, I went the next day for lunch with a friend and had The Banquet Burger and Fries special... So good. Quality ingredients and expertly prepared!

UPDATE: if every meal is $9.95+tax, then menus that clearly read $8.95 for what you are ordering are all wrong! But at the same token, if all meals really are $9.95+tax, I will eat steak and eggs without issue vs the $17.99 the menu says it is. What a wonderful find. The quality and the portions for the pricing of the food is beyond reasonable. In fact, both our meals were actually delicious. They have rye bread as an option and that seriously made the meal that much more enjoyable. We had a couple hiccups with service. Most notably being $9+$9 = $22.50 with absolutely no explanation why and it genuinely wasn't anything we had wanted to have a conversation about. So we paid exactly that and left. With saying that, we would go back, but dining in would be extremely unlikely to happen again. Free parking in back and no issues finding any this time. Clean and bright interior. Fast service, but order accuracy could use some work. Bottom line: it was good wholesome food, cooked to perfection. We were so full, we couldn't finish!

Best food ever!! They greeted me well and the food was ready very quickly. Staff was amazing. Would love to try stuffed French toast again, it was so yummy!! Loved how they cooked sausages and the burger was delicious omg mouthwatering food. Just loved it. Thankyou for amazing food to the chef and staff🫶🏻
