Terrible. It is an uphill battle to make a claim. As the primary insured I had a prescription to claim. Instead of the hassle of going through the spouse’s employer plan, I wanted to claim on the Health Spending Account - no, need coordination of benefits. Why is this an issue if I am the primary person for the plan? I was told by their office staff it is CRA’s policy? What is this? It was not an issue in the past. Are you concerned that we are double dipping the claim? Come on! The app is horrendous. No “remember me” for signing in every time so I have to type Submitting a claim using the app is impossible. Now to view anything you have to go through this trash app. I do not recommend and I am persuading the managing partner of my firm to not to deal with them in the future.
View on GoogleThe Benefits Trust is such a pain to deal with when submitting for reimbursement. They reject every claim with a different excuse. Do not email them asking for an answer as to why it was rejected. If you want answers call and be prepared to wait weeks to be reimbursed.
View on GoogleI called to verify if a certain service for my infant would be covered under my Health Care Spending, the rep took the time to look into the policy fine print and gave me an answer. It was very quick and an overall good experience.
View on GoogleGenerally pays claims as stated in benefits book, however their online services for plan members are lacking. While they do have an online claims process, it is cumbersome and no secure portal exists for plan members to confirm receipt of online claims. Their mobile claims app is poorly designed with very limited functionality.
View on GoogleI'm very happy with the service the Benefits Trust provides to my business. There was a setup mixup that was resolved very fast. The communication has been excellent. Thanks for being responsive.
