The Barrel Restaurant

I just visited the Barrel Restaurant for the first time and I will definitely be a regular!! The food was delicious! I had Mediterranean pasta and it was amazing! The dinner salad was crisp and the house Italian dressing is the best! I don’t usually eat bread but it was irresistible. Our server Chantel was friendly, efficient, attentive, and also very positive and complimentary towards her employers and the restaurant when we mentioned how much we were enjoying our first visit. It was such a pleasure to hear from our server how much she enjoys working there. I found this place online and wanted to try it based on the excellent reviews. I understand why this family owned restaurant has been thriving since the early 80s.

My husband took me here for Valentine’s Day. Food and service were incredible. We ordered a pizza to take back to our hotel for later. I got to say that was the best pizza I have had in years! Fun fact , the last time my hubby was there was back in 1981 when he was a kid . We will definitely make another trip back in the near future from Barrie.

I have nothing but positives to give for the Barrel. The portion was better than I have seen at any chains recently. Our waitress was on the ball. She was kind, courteous and funny. They even comped us for an order of breadsticks we ordered not thinking we were getting bread and soup or salad with our pasta. I just moved back to the Fort and I will be returning over and over.

Always love having dinner at the barrel! Food is amazing! Staff are wonderful and love the atmosphere. We just decided to do a family dinner here for the holidays because it just makes you feel good!

My residents recommend I eat here after living in Fort Erie for 2 1/2 yrs and never been. I have one word……EXCELLENT! Everything was AMAZING from the servers to the food to the atmosphere. I am definitely returning! ☺️ My son loves pizza and now he says this cheese pizza is now on the top of his list beating Little Caesar
