What a lovely gem of a restaurant in Welland. When you walk in, the vibe is instantly elegant and elevated. The decor is both elegant and quirky, with fun art on the walls, candlelight, and comfortable seating. The service is attentive, and the food delicious. A nice selection of cocktails and wines as well. If you're looking for a great date night with a lovely view right on the canal, this is a great choice. I can't wait to try again when it's warm and the patio is open!

Beautiful restaurant inside and out. The patio views will not disappoint and the food is creative, delicious and plated beautifully. Perfect spot for business lunch or date night. An elevated dining experience is exactly what Welland needs and Tempus provides!

Oof. I wish we’d had the same experience as some of the 5-star reviews. Our server was very polite and helpful - no complaints here. We started with “Fresh rolls” with crab meat. I question the freshness - the fishy smell was overpowering and taste was off. Our mains were spaghetti carbonara. I assume they ran out of spaghetti, or “spaghetti” is loosely based code for pasta. The flavours and portion were average - definitely not a $26 plate. We also had the lamb shank - the only dish that was reasonably well prepared, but again, not very complex flavours. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen, but I would look for other options if you’re visiting Welland.

Had a fantastic experience at Tempus in Welland. I ordered the baked goat cheese and the cheesecake for dessert—both were absolutely delicious. The goat cheese came with soft, warm pita and lightly crunchy bread that paired perfectly with the rich, creamy cheese. But the real standout was the cheesecake—hands down the best I’ve ever had. Smooth, rich, and full of flavour, it ended the meal on a perfect note. The service was just as impressive as the food. Rhaya and Kaitlyn were outstanding—super attentive without being overbearing. My water was refilled before I even had to ask, and plates were cleared right on time. Their professionalism and warmth really elevated the entire experience. Bonus: they have a beautiful patio option overlooking the canal and the Welland Bridge. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy your meal, and take in the view—especially on a nice day. Definitely a spot I’ll return to. Highly recommended for both the food and top-notch service.

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner tonight. Tempus was amazing. Our first time there and we will definitely be back. The food was outstanding. Our server Justin was phenomenal. And chef Julian not only welcomed us to the restaurant but came out to make sure we enjoyed our food. Absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant
