Tawse Winery

We’ve been to Tawse many times over the years, but this visit was truly exceptional. We came during the Icewine Festival in January 2026, and on top of our Discovery Pass icewine tasting, we decided to do a separate tasting with Donatella — and wow. She was absolutely amazing. We ended up spending way more time than we planned, drinking way more wine than we intended, and just had the best overall experience. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely special. Thank you so much, Donatella — we’ll definitely be back in the summer to see you again!

From the moment I pulled up to Tawse Winery, I knew I was in for something special. The property is spotless — polished, clean, and absolutely stunning. Rolling views of the vineyard stretch out in every direction like something out of a movie. It’s the kind of place where you just stop for a second and think: wow… life is pretty damn good. And then there was Meygan — our server and the true MVP of the day. Funny, relaxed, and the very definition of easygoing. She made everything feel natural and enjoyable, like hanging out with that one cool friend who just gets you. Even though this place has a real high-end vibe, she never once made me feel out of place. I’m a blue-collar person — definitely not fancy — but they treated me like a VIP from the second I stepped through the door. Now… the wine. Imagine the best day of your life — sunny skies, laughs, everything going absolutely perfect — mix all that together, pour it into a glass, and send it down the hatch. That is what this wine tasted like. Hands down, the best wine I’ve ever had in my entire life. It just slaps you right in the mouth with goodness, lol. I didn’t just grab a bottle on the way out — I bought four, because there was no chance I was leaving without bringing that magic home with me. The whole experience felt high-class but still totally welcoming, like a place you could go with friends or bring family and feel proud showing it off. And honestly? I can’t wait to come back again in the summer months because I already know it’s going to be even better. Sitting out in the warm weather with those views and that atmosphere — that’s going to be next-level perfect. Tawse Winery — best winery on the tour. Hands down. Already planning my next visit. 🍷🔥

We visited Tawse Winery on a quiet Monday and had the whole tasting room to ourselves—it felt like a private experience! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views in every direction. We chose the flight of four wines and were especially impressed by the 2022 Pinot Noir and the sparkling Riesling—both were exceptional. A peaceful, beautiful spot with fantastic wines. Highly recommend!

We did a wine education experience for 4 with Romena and it was quite delightful! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the winery and wines we savoured. She was also very knowledgeable in addressing all our questions. Just a lovely way to spend an afternoon!

They do mostly non ice wines but their Riesling ice wine was amazing (smooth, sweet, can barely taste the alcohol). The discovery pass included a tasing of the ice wine and a really good blue cheese on top of a crunchy crostini bread. The store is beautiful and modern yet historic and massive with high ceilings. Great friendly staff who were warm and inviting. Loved the wine and experience and pairing. Owners of this place also own Red Stone Winery. And they are adjacent to a private residence which is very classy w beautiful hardwood and smooth floors … I would love to live here too!
