Tang Chinese Cuisine

Tang used to be my favorite spot. The food was always fresh and delish. Tang took a dive this year unfortunately. Shrimp overcooked, noddles mushy and sauce inedible. Every dish purchased was terrible.

Don't order from this place Despite the reviews I took a chance on this place and they were right, the service absolutely sucks. Ordered via Skip the Dishes, they added 20+ minutes to the order timeframe so it was 40 minutes, then when there was still 20 minutes on the timer when I get it picked up only to find out that they handed it off to someone else without bothering to check on the ID. They argued, it even though we were able to clearly confirm our receipt. Refused outright to make the order again even if we have the information and refused to answer when skip called them to attempt to confirm what had happened even though they are OPEN late.

We ordered Tang Chinese for the first and last time. I didn’t even notice there were no reviews on their site but now I understand why! Most reviews start at 3.5 and I could not in all good conscience give it a one. Terrible is understated the fried rice was burnt and old tasting I worried for my health after just a couple bites. The General Tao chicken was like nothing I have ever tasted before called chicken and the chicken balls were dried and looked as if they had been overcooked ( burnt ) in a frying pan with a drizzle of sweet and sour sauce. I ordered two wonton soup and 4 egg rolls, the wonton soup tasted like some kind of old oil and it didn’t smell right either. The wontons were awful with a mushy texture and no flavour so the old oily broth? was highlighted and not in a good way! The egg rolls were just more of the same old tasteless garbage. Of all this food we barely ate any of it even our dog refused to eat it! I took pictures because you should really see the truth of what you get for close to $60.00 Ordering in is a big treat for us and I wish I had known how bad this place is. I think it is not exaggerating to say the health department should pay this place a visit. You might just get lucky and find it closed down. The delivery driver was very punctual. No place to post my pictures! 😣

I ordered on Uber eats. My first bite I almost choked, I ended up pulling a large piece of plastic out of my mouth. I’m absolutely disgusted. I ended up throwing out the entire as I feared further contamination and because if there was plastic in one dish I don’t really trust the others. Not to mention they forgot a portion of my order. I ordered 4 egg rolls and only received 2… Not really Tangs fault but Uber eats only refunded me the single dish instead of the entire order even though I also disposed of the other dishes. I’m am absolutely appalled, I could have choked not to mention what could have been on that piece of plastic that could make me sick. On top of that they forgot to include some of the items I paid for. DO BETTER !!

Best Chinese food in St. catharines. I’ve tried everything on the menu but my favourite is the chow mein and the hot and sour soup. The food is not salty and seasoned to perfection. Definitely try Tang’s you won’t regret it
