Talwood Manor Bed and Breakfast

Booked the Tudor Room first week of Oct! Amazing, comfortable room and bed & breakfast! The room was cozy, intimate and washroom had a lovely soaker tub to relax in. Home is so comfortable and atmosphere is warm, humble and friendly. Judith is a great cook and decorator! She is kind, friendly, informative and such a pleasant warm person to be around. Loved the fall vibe and will definitely return! Would like to stay in the Highlander room next! We also saw the Ratpack show at Lighthouse Theatre which was just across the Manor. Had a bite at Lock Firewood Pizza and enjoyed view of Welland Canal. Got takeout feom Minors Fisheries to take back home --- fresh pickerel and perch fish & chips! 😊👍

My husband and I had the pleasure to stay at Talwood Manor for 2 nights last week in September 2025 and we have nothing but good things to say about our experience there. The bedrooms are all spacious and tastefully decorated to reflect their different themes. The host has a real skill in creating breakfasts that are absolutely delicious. Your host, Judith, knows the city of Port Colborne extremely well and can direct you to activities that might be of interest. I would highly recommend the Talwood Manor to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Port Colborne.

Beautiful B&B in Port Colborne, ON. Judith is a lovely host! We stayed in the Asian room. The bed was so comfy. Judith shared with us about the area and places to check out, as well as the history of the house itself. Her breakfast was great - started with yogurt, grapes and pineapple (I had tea, my friend had apple juice). Then the french omelette with brie and pear which was served with bacon, sliced kiwi, and grape tomatoes. And it was followed up with a warm lemon blueberry muffin.

We stayed at Talwood Manor in the Highlander Room. As soon as you walk into Talwood Manor you can see the pride : Judith Boroniec the owner takes in providing a VERY Memorable stay. The place was spotless with plenty of antique items to treasure. the breakfast Judith severs is individually made for each guest and words cannot describe how good it was. we have already recommended this place to others. We were so thrilled to find Talwood Manor. We stayed in the highlander room, and it was perfect. We cannot say enough about our host, Judith. She has created a wonderful setting at Talwood. For us we were in town for a family item, lots of things to do, sometimes stressful, but Talwood Manor made our task so much better. Judith was very open to accommodating our needs, down to the smallest detail. We stayed several nights over the course of two weeks. We enjoyed 5 of the breakfast choices, and each one was just as amazing as the first. Her breakfast is the perfect way to start the day. Compared to a hotel, the value was so much better, and we felt so much more comfortable, and at home. We have already suggested this to our friends, and we plan to return again soon.
