Swadesi Grocers

Fantastic selection, but the atmosphere is a bit cold. ​I keep coming back to Swadeshi Grocers because their inventory is incredible. If you need spices, herbs, oils, or bulk rice, they have almost everything you could think of. The freezer section and instant soup variety are also great, and the prices are very hard to beat. ​However, the customer service consistently feels a bit unwelcoming. Every time I visit, I get the sense that the staff isn't very friendly or helpful, and it occasionally feels like they are laughing behind your back. It’s a bit of an uncomfortable vibe that has kept me from even checking out the hot bar in the back. ​Summary: Go for the amazing products and prices, but don't expect a warm welcome. ​A few tips for your visit: ​The Hot Bar: Usually, in stores like this, the hot bar is where the best authentic food is! If you ever feel brave, maybe try a quick "to-go" order just to test the waters. Sometimes in tight-knit family businesses, staff might be joking in another language which can feel personal, even if it's just an inside joke between them. Don't let it ruin your spice hunt!

I ordered vada pav and dabeli, but both were very cold, like ice. It seems they took them straight out of the fridge and didn’t even heat them up. The dabeli tasted like it was made earlier and kept in the fridge, then served just like that. It didn’t taste good, and it didn’t feel fresh at all. I had to throw all the food away.

Well.. it was my favourite Indian grocery before but today I ordered bhelpuri from the restaurant online and asked them to give the sauce separately . They didn’t followed the instructions and atleast I got the soggy bhelpuri and I had to throw it .. thanks for this experience

Went to Swadeshi grocers for the first time today. They have a hidden gem at the back of the store, where they serve pani puri, chat paper and lots of other snacks. My wife and I had their pani puri and the MAWA was so tasty that we ordered chat paper especially because of the MAWA they add. I’d go back again just to eat at that snack shop again. The lady serving snacks was awesome too. Go try it out today.

Visited this Indian Grocery Store to buy Desi stuff! It has entich availability of everything I like! I liked the Chat Chataka Corner, especially that VEG puff has my heart😋
